37p each! Size is enough for one person. These last quite well in the fridge past their sell date.

In my experience, cut in half, and save the half with the stone in outside the fridge, and just cover with the used shell of the 1st half
Wrapping one half up and returning to the fridge makes them go black but they are fine is left on the worktop (with the used shell just covering it)

Thanks for the advice. With these being the perfect size for one person the whole avocado gets used but I have had the larger one's and wondered what to do as that's too much if you're just making toast and using as a butter substitute.

To ripen an avocado quickly, leave it in a bag with bananas

Just rub lime/lemon juice on the cut half to stop it discolouring

I was in Waitrose last night and they had 6 in a pack of medium/smallish avocados for £2, which my OH thought was a bargain - never noticed it before and can't find it on the website
