I popped into Tesco in Perry Barr a little while ago and spotted this Tesco branded DAB alarm clock for £6 on the SEL. I found it on the a Tesco website and its £24 on there. It's not a local reduction as it didn't have a Reduced To Clear or one of those yellow stickers. Might be worth a look if you're passing by and you're in the market for one (don't go on a wild goose chase!)
The reviews look decent and subjectively the sound is decent considering its a single speaker jobbie, like most alarm clocks are.
UPDATE:
Photos of SEL,receipt and box added in posts 13-17 in case someone needs the barcode etc.

agree; DAB has been misleading for ages with its claim to offer better quality..... only fit for vehicles etc

Scanning at £24 in Hartlepool. The SEL in the picture doesn't mention DAB so it may be just a lucky mistake.

The photos not great but if you zoom in it says " Tesco DCR1401G Digital Clock Radio Grey" and the model number ties up with the DAB version on the website as well as the box and barcode I bought :sunglasses:

It's a Digital display FM radio not a DAB radio.

The product code on the label and the box is Tesco DCR1401G. The non DAB version does not have the 'D' at the beginning. I'll post a link to the SEL, box and receipt shortly if it helps.
