Good price... Not looking to buy another RPG apart from FFXV but the price is tempting.
What is the consensus on the game anyway? From all accounts, I've heard it's pretty dreadful. Although I also know that the mainstream tend not to like JRPGs...

Not really true. World of Final Fantasy is basically a JRPG and got great reviews.

'Dreadful' would be harsh, but it's not great. I enjoyed it enough to complete it, but unlike the other entries I haven't felt compelled to return to it to complete any extra stuff.
If you have other stuff to play, then I probably wouldn't bother, but if you have the urge to play a JRPG and only have a few quid to spend then this is a decent price for it.

Star Ocean 5 is rushed and non polished and not so great. There are other many great JRPG's you should buy instead

Can't really grumble at this price after having paid more than twice this amount for something that now sits gathering the proverbial :man:
Daughter found it lacking somewhat but I'm hoping she will give it another go,think Sword Art derailed it to some extent

It's been a year I've not bought anything from simply games. I just wish they could consider some of their customers don't owns Paypal account and they prefer to pay on card! All their payment options require PayPal account! Good price thou, but I'll be watching. Heat.

If it's such a issue create a paypal account it covers both parties.

I don't feel safe using Paypal due to past experience. I trust my credit card company much more and don't want to repeat past experience so I'll steer away.

I had a blatant case of ebay fraud against me where the fraudster even admitted it, yet despite showing them proof PayPal still sided with them and took money from my account to give back to them (don't sell gift cards or codes on ebay, you're not covered!). Oly after much complaining they gave me a one off credit when I demanded police intervention... but I'd still recommend getting a PayPal account, it's really useful 99% of the time!
Star Ocean is good, imagine the development team being given half the staff and half the budget of the old ones but with a decent game engine, that's kind of what this is. Less scale than previous ones but it's Star Ocean at heart and any old school JRPG fan will take to it

I bought SAO: Hollow Realisation from Amazon when they price-matched Game. Sold it today for £35 as reviews for that were a tad mixed. Might get it again when the price lowers...

FFXV, Persona 5, Tales of Berseria are all great two of them released in Japan and did very good both coming west early 2017
If you want to play some other good jrpg's released so far Disgaea 5, Digimon Cyber Sleuth, Exist Archive. SAO Hollow Realization is not bad it's better than the previous two in the series. And Tales of Zestiria is the same case as Star Ocean 5
