Bought one of these a few weeks ago for £169 from Tesco. Really good bit of kit and one of the rare sound bar/base that has more than one hdmi input!

I had an AV receiver with several speakers around the living room. I replaced with this, you can feed all of your equipment via HDMI into the back of this and one HDMI into the TV. Sound quality will not be as good as individual speakers however I wanted less clutter. It will produce much better sound than any TV and works a treat

Can you use with at the same time as a Sony CT380 soundbar? ie. Soundbase and Soundbar controlled from the TV remote via one HDMI split?

Been using one of these for the past 15 months. Couldn't believe hot crap the sound was on my Sony thin bezelled tv was, so getting a sound base was a no brainer. More convenient than my old surround system, as this one switches off and with my tv automatically.
No point having a sound bar with this as this does it all.

Sounds interesting. I just got rid of my Speakers in the living room also and looking for a soundbar/all in one solution, Think this is what I have been looking for. I am curious thought as I have 3 devices I would Like to feed into this which supports HDMI 1.4 however I have a Media Player which also has an HDMI 2.0 out.
So can I feed my HDMI 2.0 device into the TV and Output the Audio from the TV into this Base?

You can feed the hdmi into the speaker and then select the appropriate hdmi on your tv. For example I have a Xbox one, Apple TV and sky box going into the speaker. There is then one hdmi going into the tv. I then select the appropriate hdmi input via the speaker to view.
Also has Bluetooth which is handy for music.

I also have this. Greatly recommended. My refurbished unit from here was brand new (as far as I can tell) as well!

I too bought a couple of months ago at this price and only sign that it wasn't new was the box had been re-sealed. It got a good review from What Hifi when tested at £230 a couple of years ago. I'm really happy with it.
