I always assume 4MB/s unless otherwise stipulated. 4MB/s is probably closer to the truth than the read speed figure, even if it is apparently USB 3.0
Most USB 2.0 drives I've pushed in a USB 3.0 slot read faster than they do in USB 2.0..... same [email protected] 4MB/s write speed though.

The Grixx models come on here now and again. I've had 3. One died after a year. Write speeds perhaps 80 MB/s or so. Usually about £20 for the 128 GB model at 7dayshop. I use them for backups.
