It's the newest fad.
Got myself a curved monitor (1080p - 29 inch) and I notice no difference during films or gaming.

They're a total fad. Even Samsung have admitted anything under about 60 inches doesn't need to be curved.

If you take the screen out of the housing ,it becomes flat.
