It's a brilliant little time killer guaranteed to give you hours upon hours of fun as it contains 200 retro games built into the device and it comes with 2 years manufacturers guarantee. It does require 3x AAA batteries which are not included in the purchase. I bought one yesterday and have been having a great time going through the old classics
Description from Argos:
The mini handheld controller is designed to look just like the retro 80s controllers. It's compact and portable for hours of retro gaming and is great for you and the whole family. With a range of games from shooting, arcade, puzzle and sports, there's a game for everyone. With a mini joystick and A + B buttons, this remote is a nostalgic little number for old-school gamers. Includes a 200 strong, on-board retro gaming library.

What classics would that be?

It's a bootleg. 8-bit generics, with gamenames that give absolutely nothing away. There's a pdf list here, but don't expect detailed descriptions or pics bigger than thumbnails.

AV jacks only so it'll look fuzzy on big HD or better TV's.
Buy for children under the age of six because they won't care, and the controller is tiny.

There are no old classics. It's the equivalent of the old mail order cassettes '50 in 1' game collection, where the games were made by kids responding to newspaper adverts in exchange of £10 per game.
Each one was genuinely awful because there was no testing before being published.

Price is decent but eh, the quality is very underwhelming. Use emulators than this thing.

Better the Nes Mini - if you can find one. More money yes, but far, FAR more lasting appeal.

Good for the price; but keep in mind it's called retro as it is cooler than saying low tech; games are all made recently.

Its actually better than I expected, the games are a mixed bag but they seem to be programmed pretty well so fairly good animation, no flicker etc
It is absolutely tiny though, I'd probably have to superglue some handles onto the side to use it.
