Good boxes, bought a smaller one yesterday - Blodon Asda has them reduced.

Why not just put your tree back in the cardboard box that it came with at purchase?

...that's how the spiders get in, lay their eggs and the babies come out and attack you...

really useful boxes aren't as air tight as you might think, I've found creepy crawlies in some of mine in the loft, but I'm happy to leave the critters alone, if they'll deal with the sleeping queen wasps that also have a nasty habit of living in my loft :-)

Thanks. As per Hobbycraft website, it is actually even slightly better at £17 (vs. £17.99 in your post)

I'm a massive RUB fan but I've resisted for years for exactly this resson....and for the record I seal it every year with parcel tape so the spiders can nest everywhere else...and nd Do...and nd long with the aforementioned wasp queen

Got one last year, stored the tree in it and when I took it out this year the tree was dead just a mass of decomposed pine needles.
Thinking of getting an artificial tree this year.

Do you have to water the tree or does it seal and keep the moisture in ?
Interesting how it keeps your tree alive for 12 months.
