I can recommend Crest Whitestrips Supreme Professional (there's a dizzying array of Whitestrips and they're not all the same) - but hard to get from a UK retailer. I got mine from Amazon US, though the seller I used doesn't ship to the UK any more https://www.amazon.com/Whitestrips-Supreme-Professional-Whitening-strips/dp/B005GRGA5G I don't do the course as recommended, just do it as a top up every now month or two.

Obviously results may vary, and if you have teeth discoloured through antibiotics use you'd be better consulting your dentist.

I'm on my third Sonicare through the years (started off with Ultrasonex) - well worth it. Philips offer a 2 year guarantee, so make sure you register from new.

Appears to have cheap replacement heads too - 8 for £8 which is cheaper than Oral B which seem to be 3 for £12!

have had several oral b toothbrushes, the batteries deteriorate (they use NiMH or maybe even NiCd) so they don't last. The bottom range sonicare also use NiMH but most, including this one, use Li-ion so last longer on a charge and should also have a longer lifespan. The specs for each are listed on the Philips website.

This model has the minimum important features, ie full speed, proper battery, quad timer. Nothing fancy like different speeds etc, only what you need from an very day electric toothbrush.

I'm a newbie into these. what's so good about these than a normal oral b brush or another brush which cost a couple of quid

Tempted by this, my Oral-b needs charging too often, heard these philips sonicare can go a lot longer without recharging.

This is absolutely fabulous toothbrush. Once you'll try it, you won't want to see oral b again.

How is this compare to Philips 4000?
