does the 6 month entertainment pass come as a separate voucher that I can insert into my account manually via my now TV account page online or does the entertainment pass come hardwired into the box as such? my idea is I don't want to use this box in this offer but can I use the code stand alone alongside my preexisting smart Nowtv box?
thanks in advance

Thanks, I read one of these posts saying that it was the new mk3 box (this shape) but as far as I knew it was only the smart box that had it..
Yes m8, thats what I was confirming because, as above on one of these, peeps were talking about a mk3 box on this shape box!!
I don't suppose the smartbox has an optical out does it :? (yes I'll go and check  )

They are on SkyTV
The NowTV box lets you watch a handful of live channels that are on Sky and also lets you access shows they have been showing on catch-up. They are not all on there forever due to licensing but you can see loads of stuff on there for cheaper than you would pay Sky for. You are also not tied into long contracts.
If you have WiFi at home and a spare HDMI socket on your TV it's a great addition to normal TV.
Get 2 of these to cover you for a year and you can watch all of The Walking Dead, WestWorld and Game of Thrones and plenty more.

Forgive my ignorance.
I know nothing about these Now tv boxes.
But, weren't (aren't) all these shows on regular tv?
Am I right in thinking people are buying a gadget which allows them to watch repeats?

Is the free entertainment package limited to new customers only?

When you activate the offer does it automatically sign you up for renewal after 6 months? I want to try this but don't want to give my bank details to Sky

Sky own nowtv. And I'm sure you need to put card details in to start up. It's been a while though.
Is that not the smart box? Ie the latest one. Think this is just the black version (2nd one)

You need credit/debit card details to open a Now TV account. It will auto renew, but you can cancel the pass online at anytime.

Yes, only the Now TV Smart Box has the Freeview tuner. This older version does not, as far as I know.
