Yes I got an OEM one from China and it works great. Same as the original NIKON branded one that is made in China!!

they sell 23 a day on average on tracking websites and have 80 - in stock so 3rd parties will profit, camera retailer in germany has bought these anyway :0

I bought one of these for £3 and although it works OK, the range is about 10 feet.
I use mine mostly close to the camera when it's on a tripod to prevent camera shake on lo9ng exposures.
Good for the price I suppose.
