Vodafone have a pretty great offer going on the Huawei P9 In the Newly Released Red Colour exclusive to Vodafone. This also Includes the W1 Classic SmartWatch Worth approx £179.99 At least via Amazon/Very etc.
£24.00 PM x 24 Months = £576
+ £30 Upfront = £606 Total Cost.
I work for Vodafone in Retail Shops & Can confirm this Is Online Only and won't be available In Store in terms of redeeming the SmartWatch etc as well.
Details Below;
Black Friday weekend deal – save £412
6GB of 4G UK data, unlimited UK calls and texts and 500MB inclusive roaming data for £24 a month with £30 upfront (was £42 a month with £10 upfront). Now available in red – only at Vodafone.
So all Retail Estate have the go ahead to Order this In Store for Customers as well. (As stated While Stocks Last!) + 10% Managers Discount or 15% VEA Discount etc
Phone & Watch need to be ordered In the same Order for it to arrive for either Delivery to Store, or Delivery to Home (Delivery Cost Applicable).

The other colours can also be ordered as highlighted on the thread. I thought highlighting the Red One being Exclusive & New would be more appealing as the phone has already been out for months of course!
Receiving mine on Tuesday so can't wait!

I got my cash back of £75 from Topcashback. Already gone into my bank. Best deal for me of last year. Phone & Watch and the £18 monthly contract thanks to the excellent customer advisor along with the free 2gb extra data in the second month.

Well still no returns bag for me but odd things are happening on my Ac . It looks like they have removed my allowances the account is still active but I have no allowances My bill that was supposed to be taken from my bank shows as £22 but also says nothing to pay underneath .Then my future bill is showing as £0 also .It is looking like maybe they did credit my Ac with £30 as stated but I have no way of seeing credits on the Ac or someone has seen the problem and listened to my request that my credit rating not be affected by this mess and done something to help?. I will keep you all updated to what is happening on this forum till it is fully resolved.

This has been a ridiculous experience, never have been treated like this!
I genuinely thought it was a real Black Friday deal when I placed order online. Little did I knew that I have been conned into by the biggest high street mobile provider.
DD has been in place, payment collected and no sign of phone, watch or SIM. CS team are clueless about the status - worthy a case for Ombudsman to review as the calls and chats are recorded (I hope, can't trust anymore!!).
Will keep posting updates on this forum till it is resolved.

Thank you for the info ,I wish I was interested in the latest and greatest phone because both this phone and the one you are getting are well worth £22 a month with what allowances you get ,but my interest was in the watch the wife has wanted one for so long . I have just been given some info that might help me so fingers crossed ,I will be acting upon this info tomorrow now as it's a bit late

I've been calling them from the day after the Huawei P9 arrived and been passed from pillar to post.
On Friday, I called the complaints department and they put me through to the Returns team.
These guys checked the whole scenario out and have arranged a phone swap out for me. They are picking the P9 up tomorrow and are replacing it with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
I said that it was an option when I took the deal but went for the P9 due to the watch. If no watch is coming, I wasn't interested in the phone (which I have to say is an amazing phone with an amazing camera)
They also agreed to keep the monthly cost the same and not charge any more for the phone upfront.
Let's see if it actually arrives tomorrow!
Vodafone have been lying from day 1 as apparently, they only had 700 watches in the first place (if you believe them)

Not sure but when you get to speak to someone they usually redirect you to another person just ask not to be phoned back and tell them you are more than happy to hold the line .What some of them do is put you on hold without warning for a prolonged time hoping you will hang up so the sooner you tell them you don't mind holding on and only want to find a resolve things seem to go a bit quicker .I would say I have been on the phone to them for around 6-8 hours in total I still haven't received a returns bag after 12 days . I now also have been given information that This is going to affect my credit rating in a bad way

Which options leads to a person who knows about this issue and can resolve ?
This is outrageous as DD is now in place, upfront payment collected and no sign of phone and watch. 21st century con in the name of Black Friday deals which was online from Friday to Monday all through the weekend. Don't know how many people have been conned into buying this offer. I only found out when I googled about not getting my P9 delivered.

I feel like I might be stuck in a returns con as twice now they have been supposed to send me out a returns bag .In addition to this, they are desperate for me to reinstate my direct debit .My first direct debit was supposed to come out on or after the 11th .I got told at the time I asked for my second returns bag on the 8th that they cannot stop the direct debit from their end as it was already taken out so I phoned my bank who confirmed that it had not and was due on the 11th or next working day and duly cancelled it for me .So I phoned back to give Vodafone this info and the guy said to me can I please reinstate my direct debit as he has just deposited £30 into my Vodaphone Ac as a goodwill gesture and that nothing will be requested from the bank as I'm classed as being in credit lol yea right . now the funny thing is I was told on the 1st when I requested the first returns bag that they had given my £50 credit as a good will gesture(never happened) the first return was supposed to be so they could send me out the correct package containing the phone and watch ,which I have now been told is impossible .

Complete and utter shambles of a 'customer service' they operate. Formal complaint sent from me too - been messed about something rotten. Still waiting for ring-backs and their 5-day contact from the complaints department. I am just going to keep complaining now - wouldn't buy anything from them. Been having some great fun on live chat though. If you are bored then go on live-chat and ask them for an email address for the complaints department. Make sure that you point out that per their own website they are a world leader in communications yet they will be unable to give you an email address. Hours of fun!!

Just had a call from the store to say my phone is finally ready to collect! I must say this a huge relief as I genuinely believed I would never get it. Clearly they have an issue with stock and will give hope to those still waiting.
The Vodafone website still states my order is stuck at stage 2 oddly enough. I hope the service I have received from Vodafone thus far improves. Once I have everything up and running I will be making a formal written complaint.
Hopefully others who have been kept waiting will not be left hanging for too much longer. Good luck!

I've gotta say, Vodafone have been pretty **** at keeping everything flowing properly. The amount of times i've had to go on live chat or phone them to sort things that should never have happened is crazy.
Finally managed to create a Vodafone account and now I need to get them to give me the full 6GB data and not 1GB that is showing on my account.
Turns out their website is just a bad design, that I actually have the full 6GB data but it isn't very clear. I seen this when logging in:
I have to go to another page under "Upgrades and Bundle" to see my actual data:
You'll also see in the original screenshot it says I pay £24 per month, but in the second it shows the 20% discount - Live chat confirmed I do actually pay £19.20 per month, although the first month they charged the full £24 and I got a little refund for that. Good idea to stay on top of these things!

Still no phone for me. To be fair to the store they have kept me updated by email to say the didn't arrive on Friday or Saturday. They advised they have deliveries on Sundays and Mondays so the next possible day it could arrive is on Tuesday.
I called customer services complaints department and they insisted the system are warehouse was showing that the phone was in store ready to collect. I explained this wasn't the case and that I wanted the phone tracked down. They tried calling the store directly on my behalf, but rang straight to voicemail typically.
I'm really running out of patience and think that the store have either messed up and given my order to another customer, or they have kept hold of it for themselves. The case has been escalated to the store manager, and I await an update on Tuesday to see if it miraculously appears!!

I don't suppose you know who delivered your parcel to the store. I have been assured that mine is on it's way but the customer service rep said the courier was Royal Mail instead of DPD. It was despatched on Wednesday and they said it takes longer with Royal Mail, and they had no idea why there usual courier DPD hadn't been used.
I have had so much misinformation that I don't know what to believe, I think they will tell you anything to get you off the phone. Vodafone are probably the worst company that I have ever dealt with. It doesn't bode well for a 24 month contract with them.

I had an email at 17:20 this evening to say mine was ready for collection at my local Reading store. I made a special journey into the town centre to collect it after work only to be told it wasn't there!
I vented my frustration at the store assistant (in typically polite British fashion) and it was explained to me that the email I received was just confirmation that the courier DPD had collected the parcel from Vodafone's warehouse and that it was on it's way (despite clearly stating it my order was in store and ready to collect). She did apologies for the inconvenience and explained that these emails are usually sent out later in the evening to avoid people coming that same day it would definitely be there tomorrow morning as this is when they receive their deliveries.
I will definitely be filing a formal complaint once I get the phone and at the least expect to be reimbursed for the car parking charges incurred this evening. I've not had a great start with Vodafone. I will of course update with tomorrow's proceedings.

Bit of an update for you guys.
After trying to get through to someone who actually understood the situation (almost an hour), I finally got through to a chap called Oliver in the Dearne Valley returns department.
He was very understanding and said that he will look into it. He spoke to his manager who advised that the watches were getting sent from a different company and that Vodafone don't actually hold them in stock (which is apparently why I got told there were non in stock yesterday). The process is that when the order is placed with Vodafone, a notification will go to this other company who will dispatch the watch within 14 days. He will check back with me next Thursday. I was concerned about the 14 day cooling off period but he advised this is now 30 days so plenty of time to return the phone if the watch doesn't turn up.
He also said that if they couldnt provide me with a watch, he would credit me enough to go out and buy a watch as that is what i was sold as the deal. He also said that if i wanted, he would swap the P9 for the S7 Edge that i was offered during the order process.
Being bitten a few times before i put the call on record when I was speaking to this chap (I am a Decepticon as per my Avatar) so have a little something to fall back on.
If anyone has any issues, give Vodafone a call and try to get through to the returns department. Ask if its the Dearne Valley office and ask for Oliver. I mentioned that there are a few people online who may be in touch
Hope that helps

I will be going the official complaints route, but as seems to be the case these days large companies can get away with it, but if I stopped paying them but "promised" I would sort it but didn't I'm sure they would escalate things against me quite quickly and would have legal support to do so.
I cant see how they can get away without supplying it, it was ordered in good time they have taken money out so have entered into a contract with me which they should honour.
Just been told my phone and watch has 100% been dispatched but cant give me a tracking number or date/time when it was dispatched or will be delivered.

I was told today the watches and phones are a bundle from Huawei so if they run out of watches they would of run out of phones also.

I mentioned a complaint and the best they offered me was a £50 credit..... They offered a S7 Edge when i took the deal out so might settle for one of those instead of cancelling the contract.
In all honest, its still a good deal (Even with just the P9)
But screwing me over so early on into my contract has made me lose faith in Vodafone.... i might just need to sleep on it and see how i feel in the morning.

So since my last update yesterday lunchtime where the online chat team told me that weekend orders weren't processed until Tuesday evenings (sounds crazy but gave benefit of doubt), I am still stuck on stage 2 for a store delivery.
I have spoken again to the online chat team who assure me the phone will be delivered to my chosen store tomorrow, even though I am stuck on stage 2. They even gave me a consignment number for the delivery, but I am not sure how I can check the progress. When I asked how I go about checking it and where I was told not to worry and once again assured the delivery would take place tomorrow and I would receive a text message and email three hours before delivery is due to take place.
As I feel I'm starting to be fobbed off I called customer services and despite being put on hold multiple times they told me delivery would take place tomorrow (again still stuck on stage 2) and gave me a store number to call to check progress in the morning.
Tomorrow will be an interesting day. As others have stated, I am beginning to recall why I left Vodafone all those years ago!

That's true, but if you ordered it early on and it was clearly still in stock, then you are owed one. You can mention that your "friends" ordered the deal hours after you did and yet they received the watch - Clearly Vodafone messed up the distribution!
I'd take it up with a manager on the phone. Say the golden phrase "I would like to make a formal complaint". That usually gets a manager on the phone to sort the problem out.

I kept a copy of the chat from Monday evening and they stated I would get the watch - it is out of stock but they will honour the bundle still.
Here is a bit of the transcript:
me: That is the one!!!
Venice:
Would you like to order with Vodafone please ?
Venice:
As the code won't apply.
me: Yes please. Does that mean I can't get the £75 cashback deal?
Venice:
Yes that's correct.
Venice:
Because you cannot apply 2 discount at a time
me: Could you bring the upfront cost down to nothing then?
Venice:
I am afraid we cannot amend the upfront cost.
me: Does the bundle include the watch as well?
Venice:
I would just like to inform you will not get the above deal after 20 minutes as the deal will end.
me: Ok - let's go for it :-)
Venice:
I'd like to assist you with the order process further, please keep this chat window open and proceed

If you didn't get a watch with your phone, i'd go mental and not give up until they gave me one. You can easily argue that when you ordered they were in stock (wasn't until Sunday? that it showed out of stock on website) and people who ordered afterwards (12+ hours later) received one, so Vodafone clearly **** up in allocation.

Another one for the list of farce from Vodafone. Ordered Friday lunchtime, have spoken to the live chat at many times over the last few days and been advised everything was fine and the order would be ready today. Even to the point this morning of giving me a time that DPD would deliver the phone to the local store. Thought it was all going well, but still had not received an email update.
Phoned up the 'customer service' number, again was moved around to various and even then was given two different stories of where the order was sitting. Going to give them one last call tomorrow and will then just cancel the order, as I do not want to be a customer if they can’t get the easy bit right.
Shocking how they have taken the money out of my account on Friday but not pushed the order through, or communicated any issues until I have chased on a number of occasions.
The offer came from an internal work communication, so I will be sending an email back to the department advising them to consider changing suppliers and not sending out offers like this again.
Not used Vodafone before, and after this mess and constant miss information/lying will not be trying again.

This is what I was told. Its been passed to a back office team to push the order through manually. It does appear to be store delivery that has caused issues.
I was ensured that because I made the order when there was stock that one has been allocated to my order. Will wait and see what happens, if its not here by the weekend I'll be cancelling.

30 Nov 16#198
I have just contacted customer services by phone and they said they contacted the warehouse who said the phone was out of Stock at the moment and to call back tomorrow when they should of had a delivery. I ordered late Friday night and opted for store pickup thinking that I could just pop down anytime and pick the phone and watch up. I would of though if there was no stock at that time I wouldn't of been able to order. Has anyone that has received the deal ordered after 10pm Friday night?
To be honest it is becoming a bit of a farce and all the bad things that I had read about Vodafone are coming true. I have been fobbed off numerous times on both live chat and over the phone with them giving me supposed delivery dates, if it wasn't such a great deal then I would of cancelled by now.

Just spoke to support on the phone and they rang the warehouse, they said my order was stuck in the system as when I ordered Saturday it put it down as same day delivery even though I selected store delivery. Apparently because its an online exclusive order I need to wait for a super user who has permissions to come in at 12 and push the order through then wait another 3-5 days for delivery.

I placed my order yesterday morning and am waiting for an update as to when I can collect. Fingers crossed it won't be too long as I'm very much looking forward to receiving my new gadgets and also hope the case is included!
As a note, I contacted customer services via live chat help and asked for an update. They were very helpful in explaining the order has been received and is currently being processed. I'm sure that as they are now OOS on this phone they are busy processing all the orders for delivery. While I was talking to them I mentioned that I worked for the fire & rescue service and they offered me a 20% discount on my monthly line rental. I've been instructed to wait until I have received the phone and then contact them again via live chat, forward the script of the online chat (you will have an option to save it to email) and then the discount will be added. At this stage they haven't asked for any proof that I work as a firefighter, so may be worth others who have ordered to ask the same question regardless. Good luck!

So my second order with the discount could not go through (one contract per person or something?) and my original £24/m was accepted!
Tried phoning up Vodafone who explained what had happened and said they cannot apply discount and that only Live chat can. So I went on Live chat and they applied the discount to my original order no problemo. :stuck_out_tongue:

called again this time confirmed that it's 6gb + Unltmd & 20% applied... Not sure about all this.

I think this is a bargain. Unfortunately I have taken out a bt sim only last month (nearly free with cash back) so I cannot do. I want the phone and the cheapest is £350, that is nearly £15 a month on its own! And the watch! Oh and the contract!
Bit of a downer for me, jealous of you guys. Congrats to those that get it.

26 Nov 16#95
Do you think I'll be able to Vodafone advantage scheme? I've already got 20%

Lol. I was thinking I would get 10% or nothing due to already having the phone. Then mentioned 20% off like most here before she got back to me. Then finally she was like I just secured 25% off from her manager plus 2GB for the first month. Cha-ching!

Not sure if I will get the TopCashBack yet. Hopefully in time it will track.#
But getting the 20% off couldn't have been easier. I clicked through from TCB and put the phone in my basket. Then selected to chat to an advisor and said I wanted the deal and could I have 20% discount my cousin received. They said they would check with their manager... about 1 minute later they said fine. No questions or anything.
I then went on to complete the order while still connected to chat and they provided me with a promotion code that took the 20% off.
Should get the phone and watch in a couple of days.

Just Update this thread with New Info!
So all Retail Estate have the go ahead to Order this In Store for Customers as well. (As stated While Stocks Last!)
Phone & Watch need to be ordered In the same Order for it to arrive for either Delivery to Store, or Delivery to Home (Delivery Cost Applicable).
Available to New & Upgrading Customers, New Customers have more chance in getting 10% Off New Contracts where as Upgrading Customers will have to try the Live Chat way as well but even I wasn't allowed to get 10% Off My Upgrade for this so I'm going down the VEA 15% Discount Route = £20.40 PM.
Some people above have been able to get offered 20% but follow FoxWolf's instructions and you'll have more luck doing so. Depends completely on advisor.
The other colours can also be ordered as highlighted on the thread. I thought highlighting the Red One being Exclusive & New would be more appealing as the phone has already been out for months of course!
Receiving mine on Tuesday so can't wait!

They offered me 20% discount on chat (£19.20 pm), but I already have an LG G Watch (although I know the Huawei is better), and there are a few things that put me off:
1) No OIS
2) Poor-ish battery (3.5 to 4 hours SOT?)
3) No water resistance
4) Sub par mono speaker
5) I don't really like Vodafone
6) I don't really want a 2 year contract
They tried to punt an S7 Edge with a 20% discount too.
Good deal though, heat added - thanks OP
FoxWolf
25 Nov 16#60
I got a 20% discount on the pay monthly rate too. It's very easy to do.... just keep pushing for it in a polite way.
1. Ask for a discount
2. Say something like "Really tempting, but can I have just a little more off?"
3. They will tell you about VEA programme. This is 15% off... say you work for a company that rivals theirs e.g. another phone company.
4. They will say "aww sorry, you are not on the list of providers that offer a discount"
5. Depending on whether that agent is allowed, or they like how you have treated them, they will offer you 20%
£19.20 a month is great... just bear in mind that the watch is "while stocks last" so don't open it until you are sure you'll get the watch. Thank you OP, and thank you the person that talked about the discount codes in chat.

Build quality is much nicer. Also these New Colours are metallic on the back so feels more premium. P9 Lite has a plastic backing and only 1 Camera, Where as P9 has Dual Lyca Lenses. Monochrome filter looks pretty sweet when taking shots.

25 Nov 16#9
Is there much difference? Noticed some cheap P9 lite deals which look good
It seems like a decent deal if you want a smart watch or maybe try and sell it - but i'm sure lots of other people will try as well.
Right now the cheapest I seen on uSwitch was £25 per month, £22 upfront for Unlimited mins/texts and 8GB 4G data. so that works out as £622 over 24 months for 2GB less data per month and of course without the smart watch.
So you're effectively paying £16 for a £200+ smart watch and 2GB less data per month.

So far, ive not been charged any extra but will keep a close eye as i dont trust Vodafone at all!
Vodafone have been lying from day 1 as apparently, they only had 700 watches in the first place (if you believe them)
This is outrageous as DD is now in place, upfront payment collected and no sign of phone and watch. 21st century con in the name of Black Friday deals which was online from Friday to Monday all through the weekend. Don't know how many people have been conned into buying this offer. I only found out when I googled about not getting my P9 delivered.
Finally caved in and bought a 30 days SIM from Vodafone store as have to transfer my PAC code.
What a pathetic customer service - web chat is just outrageously irritating with clueless agents unable to help albeit with good intentions. Lack of training in customer care!
But lower down it says 3gb additional data and 5gb bonus.
I am confused.
The Vodafone website still states my order is stuck at stage 2 oddly enough. I hope the service I have received from Vodafone thus far improves. Once I have everything up and running I will be making a formal written complaint.
Hopefully others who have been kept waiting will not be left hanging for too much longer. Good luck!
Absolutely pathetic vodafone team who are trained to avoid good customer service!
If you decide you don't like the phone you can always return it within the time period!
When you upgrade early, are they not supposed to add the remaining term + the new term of the contract? I've upgraded around 6.5 months early and my contract says that it expires in 24 months (it's a 24 month contract).
What do you guys think of this deal?
But have people bought the screen protector for theirs, if so which one?
Am extremely p155ed off with Vodafone after this experience.
Vodafone are a load of 5h1t3!
I have had so much misinformation that I don't know what to believe, I think they will tell you anything to get you off the phone. Vodafone are probably the worst company that I have ever dealt with. It doesn't bode well for a 24 month contract with them.
Pleased to finally get them.
since Sunday (6 times) and today 3 times (was lied to all these times)...in the end they reordered for him and he received a confirmation email about the smartwatch...
Don't understand how can they do this! really makes me feel that being with Vodafone might be a bad idea lol
Just bug them and complain about it until you get the deal that you signed up for  and if not then just offer to return and they will let it pop lol
Seemed like one of the best available due to the curved edges. This has got a black border match the phone.
still looking at protector for watch as I know im going to scratch it. Ordered a band as I dont like leather straps.
I've gone for the official Huawei flip case with window.
The guy in the store asked if I got the 15% discount also, I said I got 20% which he seemed surprised by. My account is also showing 6gb data already.
Are many out there who are still in the same boat? Wasted couple of hours trying to chase by chat and phone and visit to the store, only to find this is being well debated here on HUKD.
I have ordered https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spigen%C2%AE-Resilient-Ultimate-protection-impacts/dp/B01F9PK2TO/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1480627425&sr=1-4&keywords=huawei+p9+case
although not recieved it yet.
Any recommendations for a phone screen protector?
I can also confirm the phone is locked to vodafone.
Only problem i'm having is making a Vodafone account, spent the past 5 days talking to customer services both on the phone and live chat and they can't seem to solve the issue with my account being created, such a faff on!
Got mine today, I gave CS a call and made a complain about the late delivery, the lovely Scottish lady I was talking to credit 20 quid into my next bill, and you guys may do it better.
Mad thing was, the first confirmation after that call was text to the new number, that I don't have yet.
Just out of curiosity, was it there as a bundle or 2 separate items?
Cheers
It is a shame I had so much poor information and miss communication, from my point of view from when I actually called to talk to someone. The live chat appears to be have been correct all along and it was going through but the online tracker was glitched.
Edit a "manager" has authorised stock to be available from the store today after 4:00pm. I was told it was a one off thing they sorted as I was lied to.
2nd Edit I was also told they would txt confirmation they had sorted that to me, this hasn't happened so again I think I have been told something they want me to hear to get me off the phone.....
But guess the man I was talking to liked my voice lol
The phone app is pretty pants as updated 29th will old phone number and data allowance.
Was told to call 44555 and option 1 to know as its updated regularly.
If they cant get me the watch, I will settle for the S7 Edge but will refuse to pay any more upfront costs
I cant see how they can get away without supplying it, it was ordered in good time they have taken money out so have entered into a contract with me which they should honour.
http://www.vodafone.co.uk/vodafone-uk/forms/complaints/index.htm
I wonder if that means they will take away the additional 5GB at the end of the 24months.
I have 4 contracts, end date May 17 but they've allowed me to upgrade early, been offered Xperia XZ, normal price £37 but am getting 40% off with £20 upfront, also offered OP's deal with 15% discount but £30 upfront. I've been given £30 credit on my account. I have taken up the offers but still awaiting delivery of the P9.
What do you guys think of these offers?
In all honest, its still a good deal (Even with just the P9)
But screwing me over so early on into my contract has made me lose faith in Vodafone.... i might just need to sleep on it and see how i feel in the morning.
I'd take it up with a manager on the phone. Say the golden phrase "I would like to make a formal complaint". That usually gets a manager on the phone to sort the problem out.
I ordered mine on Monday afternoon BTW and recieved the phone today
Venice:
Yes it has.
me: http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/contracts-and-deals/huawei-p9-watch-bundle/sku92695
Venice:
Only if you order it now.
me: Ok - let's go for it :-)
Venice:
I'd like to assist you with the order process further, please keep this chat window open and proceed
I thought I only had one but when I look at my extras it says 1Gb data with an extra 5GB
So far I am happy as I didn't realize the bundle included 'Inclusive roaming calls texts and picture messages' which will be good when I am in Spain as all calls and texts will be free.
Phone came through and is great. No watch has come so ive called them and they are claiming that its subject to availability and there are none left.
Ive told them to cancel my order and take this back if they cant get me the watch as thats what sweetened the deal for me to go for it.
They are to call me back... lets see :disappointed:
EDIT
They called back and offered me £50 credit. Ive told them to cancel the contract and to take the phone back :disappointed:
I was ensured that because I made the order when there was stock that one has been allocated to my order. Will wait and see what happens, if its not here by the weekend I'll be cancelling.
To be honest it is becoming a bit of a farce and all the bad things that I had read about Vodafone are coming true. I have been fobbed off numerous times on both live chat and over the phone with them giving me supposed delivery dates, if it wasn't such a great deal then I would of cancelled by now.
A bit of a joke really and thinking of just cancelling the whole order. They of course are quick to take the £30 and set up the DD already.
Ordered last friday evening
Live chat confirmed it was stuck and "passed it on" this will take 12-24 hours to sort. So 3 chats to get nowhere. So will find out tomorrow what the situation is, very bad customer service, starting to remind me why I left them 4 years ago.
Don't know if it's locked to Vodafone but there are a couple apps that I couldn't remove even with it being rooted!
I went ahead and rooted my phone using this video & xda-developers link in the video description https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT3MODvEoKg
Bit rubbish really as I've never had to wait this long before and my current phone is dying a slow death and barely lasts the day on a full charge.
Just had my old number transferred today. Still waiting for my full 6gb for 1gb data on the plan.
I find emui alright to. Only thing is not able to easily sort alphabetically all your apps.
Still waiting on my 128GB microsd card for the phone.
Showing as in stock again on website now at £24 a month.
Your order has been accepted.
We've placed your order.
Anyone else in the same position?

Looking for a case right now, didn't get one with it - Thinking of something like this with a viewing window.
What case did ya'll get?

Good luck!
Bum :disappointed:
I opted for collect as it said 1 to 2 days but that apparently meant business days so it will be ready to collect Tuesday.
I spoke to a live agent who and said I may cancel as it was an impulse purchase and I don't normally pay above £20 so she gave me 15% off which I just need to contact them when I have received my order. Hopefully will still pay out cashback, even if it is only £45 I'm still better off.
Thanks OP
There was no mention on the website this would be supplied so it was a nice surprise
Mine was stuck on box #1 so I phoned 'em up and they sorted it out for me. I posted the issue earlier in this thread.
"Your order has been accepted.
We've placed your order." My order status has been like that since 11pm Friday right after I placed my order. Am I likely to get it tomorrow? Or does it require further check? thanks.
But can see my monthly bill has been changed to £18 a month on the Vodafone app.
Also gotta wait till Monday, unless by miracle they deliver tomorrow, gutted! Dunno how people managed to get theirs delivered, I ordered mine at like 1.30am Friday!
The phone is a beauty and the User Interface is smooth with the fingerprint reader fast.
Screen excellent and the Camera is good.
The watch is wonderful, easy to set up with Android Wear and has many faces to choose from.
Tip: You can install the Watch Maker app on the phone and then choose hundreds of custom faces (subject to a fee) through this website https://facerepo.com/app/
I installed a Omega and TAG Heur watch faces :P
It also came with a genuine Huawei Flip Case as a bonus so hold off buying any cases until you try the included one.

Overall I am impressed with the goods and fast delivery
Recieving mine on Monday via DPD As they don't deliver Sundays! :disappointed:
EDIT: Discount has been applied  Now paying £20.40 PM you can all check this through My Vodafone It will be listed in your Upgrade Options and list what you've been opted into!
In order to get the 20% discount I had to make a second order, and cancel my original. Turns out by the time I had done this, my original order was picked up by DPD and headed for the delivery depo!
So now all I've gotta do is wait on DPD to deliver, looks like it's gonna be tomorrow!
The deal is now out of stock.
my orders been received but not confirmed yet.
Initially rang about 1gb data, agent said all sorted.. So called again to make sure. I was thentold that it's only 500min!!! Again that had to be sorted but then the 20% was removed!! .... So next bill is £24!!!
called again this time confirmed that it's 6gb + Unltmd & 20% applied... Not sure about all this.
Not sure if with the deal you can get one of these as well for 24 months???
NOW TV, Spotify Premium or Sky Sports Mobile TV.
Bit of a downer for me, jealous of you guys. Congrats to those that get it.
Also, as I work for the emergency services, I'm eligible for 15% discount apparently, any idea how to go even further?
Not sure if I will get the TopCashBack yet. Hopefully in time it will track.#
But getting the 20% off couldn't have been easier. I clicked through from TCB and put the phone in my basket. Then selected to chat to an advisor and said I wanted the deal and could I have 20% discount my cousin received. They said they would check with their manager... about 1 minute later they said fine. No questions or anything.
I then went on to complete the order while still connected to chat and they provided me with a promotion code that took the 20% off.
Should get the phone and watch in a couple of days.
Terms & Conditions and other useful information
What will stop me getting cashback?
Completing your sale over the telephone (offline).
Using a promotional/voucher codes not posted and approved by TopCashback
I genuinely do work for one of Vodafones rivals and can get 50% of my contract but with the 20% discount that I managed to obtain and hopefully the Topcashback this deal can't be beaten.
You place the order as usual and they give you a discount code to place in checkout, so in theory you should still get cashback as you are placing the order yourself - but only £45 cashback and not £75 as the order is below £22 per month threshold.
Yes!
Surely you have to complete the order online for tcb to register?
1) No OIS
2) Poor-ish battery (3.5 to 4 hours SOT?)
3) No water resistance
4) Sub par mono speaker
5) I don't really like Vodafone
6) I don't really want a 2 year contract
They tried to punt an S7 Edge with a 20% discount too.
Good deal though, heat added - thanks OP
Edit - I also benefitted from reduced upfront cost, waivered early upgrade fees and a brand new silver P9 and watch
Upfront cost reduced to £10 and monthly reduced by 15% to £20.40 (Vodafone Employee/Friends Discount)
I also chose the phone in grey colour.
I have been after this phone for months and this has been the best deal so far with the added bonus of the watch.
Thanks
Thanks
When I log into my Vodafone account, it shows full price.
Does anyone know if existing customers can get this deal?
I'm 6 months into a sim only deal
grrrrrrrrr Im sure I could have swung this deal with retentions.
Thanks for posting.
30 days return policy if I change my mind, not sure if they refund the £30 upfront but I needed a new phone anyway! Cheers OP!
https://www.topcashback.co.uk/vodafone_-_personal/
I have an iPhone 6s & After iOS 10 Came out it ruined the experience for me. MusicMagpie'd It & Getting £317 Back towards this so in hindsight I'm having a change of mind for a New phone to switch it up and try something new. Some would argue I've got a perfectly working phone but when I can't even open My Camera App 75% of the time then I think I'm done with it! :stuck_out_tongue:
Right now the cheapest I seen on uSwitch was £25 per month, £22 upfront for Unlimited mins/texts and 8GB 4G data. so that works out as £622 over 24 months for 2GB less data per month and of course without the smart watch.
So you're effectively paying £16 for a £200+ smart watch and 2GB less data per month.
