Lol someone should tell Tesco's PPC Marketing team. I Googled for the model and the top result is a Tesco Adwords ad for £299 not £199.
No idea if the spec is any good but heat from me

If it's anything like their tumble driers it certainly won't be cold

Which doesn't like this machine it's described as average and only scores 51%

You will spend a fortune on the labour warranty which makes the parts one not worth the paper it's written on. Dint do it, how a company can kill a major UK brand in such a short space of time is beyond me.

Agree - last time I looked the parts were free but there was a £109 labour charge each time

Decent price but I personally have experienced Hotpoint customer service and it's awful. So wouldn't buy personally but can't fault the price.

Hotpoint offers a 10-year guarantee on all parts, but not labour. Is this how they make money?
Will they replace faulty parts without their over-priced labour?
So what is the real warranty - 1 year? If so, this is pathetic.
If parts are faulty, this means the machine was not of reasonable quality. I would file a claim in the small claims court and watch them capitulate. I have had free repairs on a 5 year old Brother printer. Replacement phones and cashback paid by CPW. It is cheaper to settle than litigate for a corporate. 100% success and without a court hearing! Just use MoneyClaimOnline to file the claim online. Claim the replacement cost as the super inflated cost on the company website and not the real market cost!

Last time I bought a Hotpoint washing machine from Tesco it supposed to come with free disconnection and recycling of my old machine. They arrived and took one look at my pipes, said that's not standard connection so we don't do this, dumped the new machine in my living room and left.
I ended up spending more money calling a plumber and a scrape metal man to sort everything out.

The only way I would ever a have a hotpoint is if I bought warranty for it ,they don'nt last more than 2. Years withoutt breaking down.

It's risky to own a Hotpoint without a cover from Domgen

I wouldn't buy hotpoint again... We have a silent machine and it's everything but... I'm terrified to go near it when it's spinning.. So now I'm on the lookout for a new machine and it won't be hotpoint! that's for sure.
