Every review says it is a 10bit tv. The reason for it being 10bit & low price according to manufacturer, is they want to be the #3 best tv provider in America.
So it is one way to get market share. The are now working on trying to develop a better screen like OLED.

Because it's Hisense. They continually lie about their spec and update policies, merely discontinuing models leaving many customers with broken promises.
