Was interested in purchasing these until I read the Reviews; most of the 18 were reviewers who gave a full 5 Star rating had "RECEIVED them as a FREE PRODUCT".
This to me makes a mockery of the reviews system as the people who were given them as freebies are honour bound to give glowing feedback as they want other companies to give them more freebies!

Harris Brushes are mostly OK, more than good enough for emulsion paints. Most oil based paints are now a lot thicker than they used to be, due to the reduction in VOC (Volatile organic compounds). So undercoat and gloss paints can be a bit harder to work with as they are thicker and cause more drag on the brush. Harriss make a range of brushes called Smoothglide, Costco and B&M sell them for about £15/16 for a pack of 15/16 brushes,which is cheap for a reasonable quality brush. There are 4/5 half inch brushes in each pack which are not very useful but the rest are fine. What makes these easier to use is they are not as thick as traditional brushes and the bristles are slightly shorter which makes them easier to use. They have rubberised handles, which is a bonus, easier to hold. I add a drop of Thinners to oil based paints, but still use the Smoothglide brushes. I have used many types of brushes over the years including Purdy, but for ease of use and cost Smoothglide are the way to go. They are easy to clean and are fairly hard wearing, so well worth cleaning rather than discarding.
