Not the lowest the price, but might be worth checking out for those wanting to add the game to their collection.

I've never managed to get this game to work on Windows 10!

Upgrade to Windows 7. Problem sorted. :sunglasses:

Fair warning - GTAIV takes quite a lot of tinkering to get it to work on modern PCs. It relied on an old windows gaming programme that isn't supported anymore.
It [i]is [i] possible (I managed it and I'm an idiot) but it is a hassle so be prepared.

Cheap but as stated absolute pain to get working on Windows 10.

Any guides to get this to work on Win 10 other than reverting back to 7?

I managed to get it to work on win 10 with the workarounds (google is your friend). However, the framerate was atrocious and made it unplayable for me... Would pick it up on xbox or ps if you can instead.

What specs do you have?
I recall playing the game on a 960 with version 1.0.7.0 of the game and there were only a few moments the game dropped below 60 for me.

R9 390, 16gb ram, i7-4790... I don't know what was causing the bad FPS for me, can't imagine it's a hardware limitation.

Game is severely crippling on any type of hardware. Getting it to run is a miracle in the first place. It could have been the game version I suppose.
