Is it really excellent? Controllers can be had for £35, live for around £30 so you're just getting a cheap now tv code? Am I missing something?

30 for live is a fair price and not readily beaten, that's fair to say I think? 40 for a 'limited' colour controller is good. What's the problem? Cos it's Game? Heat. Make a nice gift for Xbox Gamer come Xmas.
Free tip? Ditch your old ps3 controllers in Game and price match CEX who are offering 20 each, plus the extra 1 pound Game give on their trade in promise! 21 for an old dual shock 3? Brilliant.

I agree. A lot of these video game deals lately just seem to be bundling stuff in. I've seen so many Now TV + Console deals.

like above states it's not that great for old controllers there needing to shift and can be picked up for £20-30 second hand

Have to agree with previous comments, I suppose if you're used to paying retail price for these item's it's a good deal.

I picked this up a few days ago with the Elite console deal. Got the sexy blue controller, they said it was limited but I didn't check, it looks nice. It's a reasonable deal for Game, I had a load of credit from trade ins and needed Xbox Live Gold so it works for me. I wouldn't have bit without having credit already though. Bound to be better deals sooner or later.

i had the choice of black, white or blue in their Yeovil store. i assumed the blue isn't usually available as cheaply as the black.

Controllers last week were £31 instore so they are £38.99 for live and a free now tv code.
