Mi bands and the like, while they do monitor steps hr etc. It's vastly inaccurate and the apps are total crap!!

The Fitbit app compatibility is a lot of what you are paying for. It does work really well, able to link up with friends and compare steps and do challenges and gives you badges for doing the most steps ever and things.

4rse. I've got both and the mi band is good. The app is just as good as the Fitbit app which is full of crap I never use.
