Bumped into a big poster for Fitbit Charge HR for £69 as a black friday deal in Three (instore) until monday.
(not the Fitbit Charge 2 before people get too excited)
Cheapest elsewhere seems to be £79 so not a MASSIVE saving for Black Friday but still the cheapest.
Cant see the benefit of an additional £40 for the newer model (£108 at costco i believe). Good reviews even at full price so a great deal at £70.

Good price but this version has a nasty flaw the band peels off after approx 6months use so more hassle than it's worth. I've had 2 so far same issue and wouldn't recommend it. plenty online have same problem.

I agree. I had same problem. Had to get changed twice. In the end got my money back and bought an Apple Watch!

Oh really :/ Just bought this today. Not opened yet. Peeled in what way? What happens to them?

mine was around the face area, where the rubber strap meets the face, FB are really good if it does, you photo the issue email them and they send out a replacement.

I've had mine for over a year with no problems. And mines been worn by my kids too. Seems pretty hardy to me!

like the others it's around the face area think the seal just breaks after so long. I went over the top into how to care for mine after the first fault thinking I wasn't being careful enough but made no difference following fitbit care instructions exactly.

I got mine for £49.99 last black Friday. On my 2nd replacement for the 'bubble' strap peeling issue. Better of spending your money on the HR charge 2 I think as hopefully they'll have fixed the bubble issue.

I also had the strap problem. Fitbit customer service replaced it free of charge, but I assume it will happen again to the new one in 6-12months time

Exact same thing happened with mine, started off with little air pockets/bubbles then the whole lot started peeling off. I contacted Fitbit and they sent me a brand new replacement which I just sold on eBay, looking for something better as I could never sinc it to my phone either! Loads of the brand new replacements are being sold on eBay for £40 roughly, just has no charger with it

Good deal! Had mine since it came out, no issues other than scratches on the face from me banging it around.
