Heat Added :sunglasses: I bought these for £75 in Sainsburys a couple of weeks ago now back to normal price of £100. Expensive for scales but it's the WI FI synchronisation with the Fitbit App and watch plus the good reviews that makes them a must for Fitbit owners.

Fantastic been wanting a set of these for ages and I wasn't prepared to pay £100 or even £85 but £65 that's much more like it.

Just a something to check first, I bought these over a month ago, but found I could not sync them with my Wi-Fi router, apparently some run on a different Protocol ( Something to do with the wireless signal ? I think ) my SKY router was the wrong one, their solution was to ask Sky to change, but then I thought my other Wi-Fi stuff would not work, so, after having a week of trying to connect them, I gave up and returned them and got a refund. I have the fitbit flex, so was keen to have them all working together. But, they are a good price as I did pay £75 which I thought was not too bad.

Had one of these for about 18 months, terribly inaccurate, readings fluctuate 7 or 8 pounds within minutes

To support and counter this.
Yes, the body fat info should be taken with a pinch of salt, but did find the scales useful for being able to record the data on the app and that worked well. However, I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone buying these scales. As soon as you need to change the batteries, which is likely to be about a year later, you will probably run into problems. Look on the fitbit forums and you will see you will get an "ERR" error message and the scales broken. Ive had two sets and they've both had this problem. A quick google search and you will see what I mean.

make sure you have them on a hard floor, carpet messes with the readings. I've got a slight slant on my tiled floor and I make sure I place it in the exact same way each time and it works really well.

Mine have been fine since I got Nov 2012 have swapped the battery twice since I got as get a lot of use.

I'm surprised youve only had to change the batteries twice, but I think you've been particularly lucky. I've had 2 sets that have died within 18 months and the link I posted shows its a very common fault. Mine died in March just outside the 12 month warrenty and I wont be buying another set.
Fitbit product life is particularly poor. Ive had a flex die as well as a Charge though poor battery life. I currently have a surge and the strap is coming apart. (Its usable - but Ive seen whats happening to mine happen to a friends I work with.)
