Be sure to turn off automatic updates when installing this printer or it will update the firmware and then all compatible inks won't work, it will then only accept genuine Epson Ink

Cold from me, not because of the price, but because its an Epson and they're a complete nightmare.
- Purple cartridge ran out? No, you can't print in black.
- Want to buy a cheaper, non genuine cartridge? Nope, sorry rejected.
To top it off, the cartridges are £20 for the small ones and you need 5 of them 'not empty' to print. It's cheaper to buy a new printer every time!
