One has to wonder, though, if this will encourage dogs to seek out, eat and (possibly) be poisoned by real bat droppings. I hope not. Yet another example of an ill thought out product. I won't be buying them because I don't have a dog......thankfully.

Very unlikely, it's more the fact that chocolate is poisonous for dogs due to the Xanthines in chocolate and more likely might encourage people to give chocolate to their dogs and not the safe product that this is.
