LOL for £25 i bought Technika speaker 2x5w which sounds awesome even better than 2x10w Philips, which I returned. Battery life very good too. That was couple of years ago.

so you are 'LOL'ing at the 2x2W even though you say you have a 2x5W which sounds better than a 2x10W you had..
well... LOL!

Youre wrong LOL you dont get it. My speaker sounds awesome. I only mentioned 2x10 speaker so people don't say "it's technika - it's rubbish". So there are awesome speakers like mine, and others. 2x2w doesn't have ANY advantage over my speaker.

i'm not wrong - you laughed at 2x2W as if thats the only criteria
then you went ahead and said your own criteria was junk by saying a 2x5W was better than a 2x10W
if you haven't tested this then you have no clue
'LOL'

You are not a bright one aren't you? English is not my first language, and I may not always say what I intended to. But I make it clear for you again, that what i MEANT to say was:
LOL I bought a 2v5w speaker for this money that it's not half bad, it actually sounds awesome, despite being Tesco own brand. Do you get it now or are you still struggling?

right i get your comment now (its not my fault that english isn't your first language btw ) and understand it was irrelevant, gotcha!
or maybe you thought it was relevant and you're just not that bright?

I have an old Audio Note valve amplifier that produces about 1.2 watts but it goes pretty loud (and sounds very sweet) with my DIY horn loaded speakers.
The question people should really be asking is how efficient are the drivers.
