this deals had been posted before but thought will be worthwhile for people looking for a decent affordable smartphone.

Bought the previous blu deal for my mum and works perfectly. Android almost stock and except for not being able to remove Opera browser (can disable) I could remove the very other few apps that came with it.

Had this for a few weeks and its a great phone. Installed Nova launcher and it flies. I've stopped using my Note 4 now.
The phone is well built, finger print scanner is very fast, camera is perfectly adequate for pictures outside and not too bad indoors. It's really made me question why I've been spending a fortune upgrading Samsungs every year. Blu have a new phone , the Vivo 6 due and that is my next purchase.

Great phone this. Mine's been perfect for last 6 months or so and about to order four more for team at work. Best bang for pound currently if you want 4G, dual SIM, decent screen, speed, reliability and build quality. Fingerprint security is great addition.

The battery lasts a couple of days for me. It comes with a screen protector and a clear gel case.
The charging is noticably slower than with a Lenovo K5 though.

How does this compared with the Hiawei P9 Lite recently?

p9 lite is quite a bit better. The blu vivo 5r is a closer match to the p9 lite. Depends what your budget is really there is about £50 difference between this and the p9 lite deal a week or so back.
