Because the plonkers are ether thick or trying to rip you off. WTF is it with some folk? Why on earth do you think it is okay for you, the consumer, to have to say 'no thank you' to avoid being shafted. I actually asked an Argos employee why he was trying to sell me an extended warranty on an item that had a manufactures extended warranty included, he said with a straight face that the Argos warranty was better!!!
