Following on from my post of various new Amex offers available today, it seemed worthwhile calling out a specific deal based on combing the offer for Naked Wines (£100 back for a £150 spend) with a £60 voucher you can get from the Naked Wined site.
*** Credit to luvsadealdealdeal for the example spend and flagging just how good this offer is and also to BackInStock for being drawn to it fearing a lack of booze this year via OneStops not being included in Shop Small ***
Here's how to combine the Amex cashback and voucher...
1.) Save the Naked Wines offer to your Amex card via your online account. Note - not available for non Amex issued cards at the moment (MBNA, Lloyds, TSB and Barclays).
4.) Apply your £60 voucher to take it to £150. In the case of the example, it will reduce your total to pay to £152.82. The important bit is keeping it above £150 so your Amex offer is valid.
5.) Pay by Amex.
You'll then get £100 credited back via Amex, so a total spend of £50 in the best case, in the example it's £52.82 for 18 bottles of decent wine, so £2.93 a bottle.
Here's a link to my earlier post showing other new Amex offers:http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/amex-various-new-offers-including-world-duty-free-oliver-bonas-eurostar-2546135

I had the same problem. they put mine through as 137.00 and 13.00. I rang american express who said they would manually put £100 onto my account. which has gone on now. naked wines trying to get out of deal me thinks.

22 Nov 16#110
Terms and conditions of the offer stated Angel wine is excluded from the offer. Your payment was splitted because you purchased angel wine that did not qualify for the offer. Technically you won't be paid the £100 but call amex and tell them you get e-mail confirming that you redeemed & spent over £150. Tell them you actually made the purchase the same time and don't why the it's being splitted. Pretend that you did not violate the condition of the offer. Hopefully amex will credit you £100 manually. Goodluck!

It is odd and I'm wondering if they are sending the order in two parts (two deliveries)?
Would the £45 correspond to any part of the order?

21 Nov 161#108
Odd. Wonder why it's been split that way - does it correspond to two parts of your order? If you have the tracking email and the cashback doesn't show I'd contact Amex customer services who I'm sure would put it right.

I ordered £155 worth of wine and received the email from AMEX saying I've triggered the offer, however, the payment for naked wines are now coming up as two seperate transactions: £110 and £45. So I'm wondering if I will get the £100 credit now.

been a naked wines subscriber for years and I would thoroughly recommend them. My wife's brother in law works for them and we met one of their wine makers when in France. from everything I've seen, their business model seems genuine.
That said, I've just cashed out the £100 I had in my account and ordered through this deal in my wife's name. I've got it saved to my card as well, so I'll do another. those two orders plus 12 bottles I got on a recent Ocado delivery deal means I should have a considerable stock :-)
I'll almost certainly become an angel again in the future though. I've never had a bad bottle from them in 5 years.

Yes, mine also shows redeemed.
You should see a £100 credit on your account, probably on Monday morning now if it's not yet showing. It won't be deducted from your £150+ spend.
My £100 credit isn't showing as yet and my £150+ purchase was only added to my 'recent transactions' today, despite purchasing on the 14th. Fear not, it will show soon. Check Monday morning.

I got a bit miffed with this but shouldn't really complain.
I realised I had already had an account with Naked Wines so couldn't get the £60. Tried registering my Amex against an account for my wife: no joy. So I thought £150 of wine for £50 was OK so just went for that.
A day later I came home from work and there was a letter waiting for me with a £60 off your next order of £100 waiting for me! Woeful timing. I shouldn't complain with 12 bottles for £50 but it's annoying when it could have been 18!

Are you sure the £100 credit worked in conjunction with a voucher? T&c's say it must be paid for in full using AMEX. Normally I'd have thought this would work, except eg you can't pay at boots for a £1 o2 priority lunch using advantage card points because the o2 discount is deemed a part payment and advantage cards must be used for full payment.
Which leads to my doubt about the wording of full payment for AMEX and naked wine.

I'm just about to put my flat cap on, take my whippets for a walk and pop in to my local for a bottle of Brown Ale (or two).
They should drop off...................the £1's and not the stars.
well worth it
Check your statements people.
Excellent service and hope the wines are as good.
Both mine are still in saved. One used.
you should also have got an immediate 'success' email from Amex
I saved the offer for my wife & it's still there, in My Offers, waiting to be redeemed
I saved mine to the card and made a purchase - but it's not showing under 'my offers' as saved (where the others usually show up). I definitely saved it but didn't take a screen shot. Thanks
Expired for anyone who hasn't saved it to their card(s) already, not expired for those who saved the offer to their card(s) but have not made their purchase yet.
Or wait for Shop Small next month.
:stuck_out_tongue:
hooray!
Start counting on your other hand, then take your socks off and re-start counting. :stuck_out_tongue:
Many added this from the other thread, before this was posted with the codes.
there will be a limited number of redemptions, but I imagine this has just been put on hold by Amex temporarily - probably a response to the sharp upsurge in interest
don't forget Amex have budgeted the full marketing investment here and actually want the full quota to be used up
Then I'll order again with my other saved card.
So hopefully, something to see here.
Are you able to save other offers or is it an issue just with this one? It's still saved to my cards, but I can't test saving it to a new one. Might be this offer has been used up, or a problem with the website.
Still showing as saved in both my accounts.
Amex have a budget for this & normally pull deals once the limit has been reached
Seems to me that they've had a massive surge in cash back requests and have pulled it?
Worth checking your emails for their offers!
Still taste the same though.
Amex have the Majestic wine offer too, but only £20 off an £80+ spend.
7% cashback from topcashback and 7.5% from imutual.
Any codes?
The new girlfriend loves bubbly wines.
I'll pop into Moprrisons and pick up something fizzy for my wife........
.....................like a few bottles of Coke.
18 bottles of wine for £50, cant be bad, just got to resist til Christmas!!!
I have since cancelled the naked wines membership due to simply not drinking enough to make it worthwhile but even the cancellation process was simple with no hassle so happy to add heat to the deal.

Enjoy your wines.
Thanks.
Luckily, I promised myself that I wouldn't drink any less alcohol.
I'm interested in this (due to possible One Stop shop issues), but need it confirmed?
Any 'guinea pigs' out there?
I'm assuming Amex would only see the £150+ spend and honour the £100 rebate.
now just need to pinch my wife's supp card so that I can do it twice, the lady doesn't need to know
Which leads to my doubt about the wording of full payment for AMEX and naked wine.
they are rather delicious, special wines you're getting for under £3 each!
2.) Get a £60 voucher off the Naked Wines site - https://www.nakedwines.com/trynakedwines
3.) Then buy with a total of more than £210 pounds, an example being....
* Winemaker of the Year Winners Red Case £141.38 - https://www.nakedwines.com/cases/winemaker-of-the-year-winners-red-case.htm
* Winemaker of the Year Winners Red 6-pack £71.44 - https://www.nakedwines.com/cases/winemaker-of-the-year-winners-red-6-pack.htm
