I've pulled the trigger on this... I was after something to work on during the day and then something to game on in the evening. Originally was scoping out to buy a 2560x1440 27" + (and wanted over 60hz for gaming) - struggled to find anything below £500.
Came across this. Happy to go with FHD pic, will instead look to push GPU on FPS and optimise the 144hz.
If anyone can come up with something in this price range with my original spec. Let me know (quick!).

I ended up doing similar a few weeks ago, i couldn't stretch to 144hz, g sync and 1440p so chose 27" 1080p 144hz and g sync. Pleased as noticed massive difference over previous 24 60hz . I really wasn't sure which to miss out on. Playing bf1 at 120- 150 fps on ultra and more than happy. For reference the monitor was this one
Not quite as grand as what you've found but if you're looking to go a bit cheaper I can recommend the warehouse deal. £315 less 20% for one that's likely as good as new.
Had mine a good few months and it's been bang on. Games like Doom & Fallout now run well at 144hz synced with the monitor.

Actually I don't agree , standard 4k, low fps, hz and without g sync , I would rather have 1080 high fps and g sync, each to their own. Price v price.
In ideal money no object world 4k and all the bells and whistles would be better of course.

FHD at this size will surely be awful pixel density?
