Yeah I'd probably agree, there's no real need for 12GB of ram, 4gb will do for the average user and besides, you'd only need to buy another 8GB not 12GB to be comparable. I'd want to put in an SSD before increasing ram.
£199 for an i5 4440 desktop is pretty good outstanding value I reckon.
