My "like new" arrived in a 500GB Go box, no game download, but contents pristine with original clear plastic on power lead connector etc - got £30 refund and 30 day extension to Prime, so £104.32.

Mine was also missing FIFA 16. Initially got offered a 20% refund via chat, asked for 25% and got it. Total cost £98.64

Refund of £32.88 so works out at 98.64.

I got mine as well and there was no game with it and they gave me £26.50 back so the console cost me £104 lol

The box was damaged as well and it wasn't even the FIFA 16 box.

Mine came in a standard xbox 500gb box - no FIFA branding whatsoever (not sure if it should be) but no game inside or anything to redeem.

Spoke to Amazon chat who initially offered my a 10% refund (£13 odd) to which as said no as it would cost £19.50 to order it from Amazon and that I was quite annoyed as I'd have to wait to play it so they changed it to £25 which I accepted. More than happy with that!

The box itself was a bit battered (mainly the tabs where you open it) but the actual xbox and all the items inside are pristine - doesn't look like it was ever used etc.

Yeah it worked fine. I saw others somewhere posting about the asda deal that the codes "valid to" date were extended. Worked fine for me.

Mine came sealed, with intact fifa 16, 14 day gold trial and 1 month EA Access code. All of them worked.

Registered the serial number on the xbox site for the warranty.

All is good.

Just get on live chat and ask for a refund of the cost of the new game. I go with 20% around £26 should be enough to get Fifa 16 then, or just buy Fifa 17.

Received mine (for son for Christmas) this morning.
Fifa 16 download code and Xbox live trial code already revealed.

How can I check that the codes have not been used, without setting the whole thing up and creating an account and trying them?

This discount works for me - looking to get XBox One for kids Xmas. Am I better going for this and getting a Kinect separate (e.g. From CEX) or going for the Kinect bundle I also see on offer on Amazon Warehouse that comes to £204.34?

Thanks anyway. I have left feedback saying they were not helpful enough as they didn't fully understand my issue which then gave me an option for a call back to give them another chance, but that then says the CS office based in London is open 9am-6pm. But it gave me an email option so I put the detail in full in there including the code to see what they do.

I am tempted to order tonight for delivery to mine, they won't ship before I talk to Amazon anyway and even if they do I will not be here to sign for it during the day. I could then ask them to retrospectively apply the discount and if they refuse, reject the delivery. Just thinking of options as not sure they have enough stock for the time it will take to resolve by waiting for the card.

Everything on both sites suggest that code is for people who have an active Amazon Student account to apply a 5% discount on Amazon purchases until the end of October, but my account isn't an Amazon Student account as my NUS card isn't here to apply to activate the student account. Oh well, guess there is **** all I can do right now about it anyway.

Maybe I'll try again in the morning if I have time before work. Perhaps if I get someone else they might understand and be able to apply student status to my account with the information I have available.

She just said there is nothing she can do and I have to contact NUS as the code isn't in the right format, apparently it should be in the format XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX (6-6-6) and mine is in the format XXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX (4-6-6).

Thanks, on the phone to them and struggled with the phonetic alphabet to give them the code but done now, after being on hold and the woman is saying it is invalid and not accepting her side. She accused me of getting it from another website and I had to explain three times it is my unique code on the National Union of Students website. Now waiting again.

I am currently waiting for a new NUS Extra card, is it possible to sign up for Amazon student before it arrives? I really want to take advantage of this if I can and not sure stock will last the 1-2 weeks it will take to get the card, email Amazon and wait for their reply with the link to sign up based on both NUS and Amazon quoted timescales.

I believe I got the same, contact Amazon, let them know you have your NUS Extra account and provide the code to them. They can add the student aspect to your account.
