Amazon currently have an extra 20% off for students on their warehouse deals until 11th November (boo, hiss!).
But I feel £131.52 for an Xbox One is an awesome price if you have the criteria to purchase it at that price. If you don't, please don't just simply vote cold, although I know you will, you little devils, you!
You could also hope and prey that the bundle actually does come without the listed game so you can kick up a massive (yet respectful) fuss for a little bit of a discount.
Some say the game is bundled (Bundled game is included.) some don't (Bundled game may not be included.)

Amazon.de have the event on as well although you don't need to be a student for the 20% off. No idea on console prices although so have a look around!
If I didnt get a ps4 last month id be all over this

How do I switch Amazon to Student mode? Is it even possible with just an NUS card?

You can send a picture of the nus card to amazon which will give you access if you don't have a .ac email address. If you google it you should find a link.

I'd be very careful about buying from Amazon Warehouse - condition is never fully stated and items are often left outside without being signed for

Such an incredible price. I bought this console at Asda for £150 brand new. For £131.52 you're getting an awful lot of console for the money.

I am currently waiting for a new NUS Extra card, is it possible to sign up for Amazon student before it arrives? I really want to take advantage of this if I can and not sure stock will last the 1-2 weeks it will take to get the card, email Amazon and wait for their reply with the link to sign up based on both NUS and Amazon quoted timescales.
There should be a code in the top right of the page you can add at the checkout stage of a purchase? That discount will now stick to your account for a year

I believe I got the same, contact Amazon, let them know you have your NUS Extra account and provide the code to them. They can add the student aspect to your account.

18 Oct 161#30
Thanks, on the phone to them and struggled with the phonetic alphabet to give them the code but done now, after being on hold and the woman is saying it is invalid and not accepting her side. She accused me of getting it from another website and I had to explain three times it is my unique code on the National Union of Students website. Now waiting again.

She just said there is nothing she can do and I have to contact NUS as the code isn't in the right format, apparently it should be in the format XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX (6-6-6) and mine is in the format XXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX (4-6-6).
nige182
18 Oct 16#33
Everything on both sites suggest that code is for people who have an active Amazon Student account to apply a 5% discount on Amazon purchases until the end of October, but my account isn't an Amazon Student account as my NUS card isn't here to apply to activate the student account. Oh well, guess there is **** all I can do right now about it anyway.

18 Oct 16#36
Ah, OK. Yeah, that would make sense. My apologies, I totally missed that part.
They wasn't sure how to activate their discount, but I just directed them as I did with you
nige182

Maybe I'll try again in the morning if I have time before work. Perhaps if I get someone else they might understand and be able to apply student status to my account with the information I have available.
nige182
18 Oct 16#37
Thanks anyway. I have left feedback saying they were not helpful enough as they didn't fully understand my issue which then gave me an option for a call back to give them another chance, but that then says the CS office based in London is open 9am-6pm. But it gave me an email option so I put the detail in full in there including the code to see what they do.
I am tempted to order tonight for delivery to mine, they won't ship before I talk to Amazon anyway and even if they do I will not be here to sign for it during the day. I could then ask them to retrospectively apply the discount and if they refuse, reject the delivery. Just thinking of options as not sure they have enough stock for the time it will take to resolve by waiting for the card.

This discount works for me - looking to get XBox One for kids Xmas. Am I better going for this and getting a Kinect separate (e.g. From CEX) or going for the Kinect bundle I also see on offer on Amazon Warehouse that comes to £204.34?
Or is the Kinect not really worth it?

Mine came in a standard xbox 500gb box - no FIFA branding whatsoever (not sure if it should be) but no game inside or anything to redeem.
Spoke to Amazon chat who initially offered my a 10% refund (£13 odd) to which as said no as it would cost £19.50 to order it from Amazon and that I was quite annoyed as I'd have to wait to play it so they changed it to £25 which I accepted. More than happy with that!
The box itself was a bit battered (mainly the tabs where you open it) but the actual xbox and all the items inside are pristine - doesn't look like it was ever used etc.

That's the current price of disc version on Amazon- you should have argued for inconvenience etc. My version has no headset so I stated that as well, although I believe the FIFA bundle originally did not include it, but I was actually sent a Go box, which lists it!
