I had something similar, was ok but not great, plus a degree of faff about it. Also put up with a steam mop for nearly a year. Again, much faffing.
Then my mum, who is not the sort of person who normally keeps up with the latest technology advances showed me two new gadgets: a mop and a broom. Amazing! Totally changed everything. So fast - sweeping everything big or tiny in seconds - and mopping the floor takes no time. No more faffing, charging, emptying, swapping, waiting. Now I want the floor swept or cleaned it just grab, go, done. These are available everywhere now, I see.

Agree, get stuck, ok if you have a completely clear floor, unlikely. Plus dont forget you need the replacement cleaning discs (paper-ish discs). B&Q cleared these out a couple of years ago about £15, pads 50p. Use mine in the kitchen occasionally as it has few places it can get trapped. My advice, do not buy. Its a dust collector allright

has anyone actually used one of these? I am intrigued by these gadgets and I often like to give them a go, especially at £20. We have hard flooring throughout our kitchen, diner and hallway and we have a dog and a two year old.............

Had one, used it once and had enough. Just moved dust around the floor and gets stuck under furniture constantly
