Doesn't work for voice chat on ps4 or xb11 though. I have it.
How much is that? and what about Xbox One mate? Same cable works for both ps4 and xb1 for voice chat, if I have the newer 3.5 jack xb1 controller?

Sorry for late reply. Official ones are around a tenner but you can get unbranded ones for like £2/3

Reminds me I need to mend my set up at some point. Fantastic headset. Only annoyance for me personally is USB power. Less than ideal in my current setup I have.

so the talkback cable will enable voice chat with both ps4 and xb1 on the turtle beach x12's ? Or just the Ps4? I have the newer 3.5 jack xb1 controller so it should work for both consoles shouldn't it haha?

It'll be both. All the talk back cable is is a 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack. I used the normal 2.5mm to 2.5mm into the Xbox One headset adapter (which is 3.5mm to 2.5mm) just fine.
