Anyone know whether this will work on 2.3ghz dual core with 3GB RAM?

It will probably. But the days will get slow quickly. (The more processing power needed, the longer each game day is). I start at about a second a day, but at 50,000 population, it slows down to 8 seconds a day and I have an Intel i5 2.6gHz (haswell)
