It's from £129 as it is available on o2 and Vodafone as a payg upgrade.
If buying as non upgrade it is £129 + £10 topup.
I really like this phone stylistically I have one mainly because it looks and feels so nice for the money. One of the biggest screens that I can still fit in my shirt pocket.
It had a recent update which has made performance better, though still has issues with low useable memory which is probably it's one real weak point at this price. Battery too isn't great, but I find it okay, about average with the update.
Has an excellent FM radio which is a nice bonus (and saves loads of battery and data)
I don't use it as my main phone, but I think it's been kind of underated and is well worth a look at this price.

That's seriously impressive, you could sell these for 10x the price if that's true :man:

Nice phone, and I love the way they've put a chopping block at each end to slice your Veggies.

Very nice looking phone, the edge to edge screen is a design feature they should continue with their other phones (didn't use it on the new xz, which is strange).
For £130/140 this is a good phone, but many will find the spec limiting.

official response was that edge to edge screen could not be done on the X/ Xz because of the fingerprint sensor at the side of the phone.
wow that's a low price for this phone.

It's a flawed phone, but very beautiful design. Good to hear a software update has improved things a bit. Worth this money just for the looks!

Nice phone. It looks and feels very premium due to the small side bezels and curved glass.
Unfortunately the battery life is still poor even with the latest software update, and the plastic back is very prone to picking up scratches and marks, which takes away from the premium feel.

Trying to work out if this is a worthy upgrade to my sons Xperia Z1 to buy as a Christmas present?
Although this is a newer phone it looks like the Z1 still beats it on screen, battery and the fact it's waterproof. This does look better though and is Android 6 as opposed to only 5.1.1 of the Z1. I think if the XA had a better screen I probably wouldn't be hesitating
Great price and heat added

I have a Z3 compact as my main phone it is far better than the XA in everyway, and can be purchased second hand in a lot of places for £150-£180 now (Game, CEX, etc)
The thing is, the XA without a case is the same width as the Z3C with a thin gel one, so the XA is great for screen size.
Not sure about the Z1, but for me the Z3C is an outstanding phone, but for brand new the XA at this price would make a nice gift I reckon

I had the XA for a bit, but took it back. It just doesn't work very well. Operating system is a bit laggy and stuttery and the battery life is pretty bad. Great pity, because the front design is good.

Would have purchased it if it wasn't for the reviews about battery life being terrible.

Having a nightmare with carphone warehouse. They didn't have my phone instock as it stated online at the time of ordering (Website Inaccurate) and its now been 2 months and still no refund.
7 emails, 2 phonecalls, A store visit and they still would not refund. I have a laughable email trail from customer services, which shows lies being told by them and contradicting themselves.
I am now having to enter a legal battle just to get my refund.
Ive bought a few phones from CPW in the past, but never again and id advise anyone the same...the service is totally unacceptable.

No need to have a legal battle. U could have gotten your money back long ago if u really needed your money. Lol. Just phone your bank and tell them the story, they will chargeback your money back into your account without you having to deal with carphone warehouse again.
