maybe i'm missing something but that's £4.99+ VAT and worth mentioning that this is a drop off service and NO protection whatsoever if lost or damaged.

I very much doubt you'll find much at that weight which you wouldn't want protected. These cheap deals are such a con. They might as well start advertising a 50p service where they don't even promise to try and deliver it.

they do advertise a 50p service in the job centre where new Hermes drivers get 50p a parcel and must not promise to try and deliver it. TBH I have sent over 500 parcels and all have arrived ok might not have been handed over to recipient but they got there and touch wood no buyer complaints. I have more problems with royal mail.
