What's your feedback on the game after the 1.4 update? I'm on the fence whether to buy it or not as I cannot convince any of my friends to buy it on the ps4

I've logged just over 27 days across 2 characters and had more fun during the 20 hours I've had with 1.4 than the previous 26 days game time
The improvements are fantastic and made the endgame much more enjoyable with the lower time to kill of enemies and increased drop rate of loot whether it be from a named boss or roaming trash mob.
And finally, if PVP is not for you there is no need to go in the Darkzone anymore as the best gear can also drop in the open world. The world tiers now available let you work your way up to the highest tier for the best gear but you get gear so you're prepared to make the move up and the difficulty within that tier increases the amount of loot so if you struggle to do Hard missions, drop it to normal and you'll still get the highest gear score loot in that tier but just not as much as challenging mode so you can always progress.
Anyway, I'm a big fan of the game and 1.4 is a breath of fresh air and just what the game needed. It's a shame it's taken this long to come out but glad I hung around for it.

There's plenty of people to help you level up, I think that's a really enjoyable part of the game. I played in a group levelling up my 1st character when the game 1st came out. Since then I've levelled up another 2 characters on my own while I was waiting for the new patch to come out. It's definitely worth getting, 1.4 has made the game great again

It's like Marmite ,I recommended The Division to a friend and he hated it (pre 1.4)and
promptly sold it but at this price it's worth giving it a try because if you like it you'll play nothing else.
