This deal is for anyone who placed an order the the PS4 bundle last week for it to be cancelled after confirmation of the order. (see above)

++++IMPORTANT TO READ++++

To qualify for this deal you will need to have received and email confirming that your bundle has been shipped. If you did not receive this email then you are not eligible so don't waste your time phoning. If you are eligible, do not panic as this offer is valid until the 12th October so you have plenty of time to get in on the deal.

I don't know if anybody remembers but I got cut off when I was talking to Ryan and I couldn't get back through again.

The delivery turned out to be one I had forgotten about from everything5pound. Just as well it wasn't a second PS4 as the delivery man just left it in the recycling bin!! I'm surprised it survived until I got home.

I had a very similar experience. I rang at about 7.45pm tonight and was only waiting three to four minutes max on the phone before I got through to an operator. He was very helpful, and sorted me out within a couple of minutes. End result being I have a new slimline PS4 and Fifa 2017 for £149. Thanks to AMC89 for posting the deal, and everyone else who added other useful information.

Took me about 45 mins to get through just now but all sorted smoothly enough once answered. Feel sorry for the poor bloke still managing to be polite doing this on a Friday afternoon. Never had an email or phone call and only found out about this settlement offer through a mate.

Update: So I just got off the phone to the hotline with my order complete. I had originally ordered the 1TB console and it was cancelled due to security reasons. I called the bank who said that they hadn't put a block on anything, and then Game changed their minds and said because it was a 1TB I was ineligible anyway (along with people on here busting their jugulars about me wasting people's time). I sent an e-mail to the CEO because of how poor the customer service/ or lack thereof was who then escalated it to the complaints dept where I was told I could have the 500GB offer at £149.99 as a final settlement.

On the annoying side of things was that I didn't get a call so I had to do more chasing, but the guy I spoke to was super nice and after a short while I had my order sorted.

To summarise:
- Ordered 1TB PS4
- Didn't receive dispatch e-mail
- PS4 cancelled 'due to security reasons'
- Bank confirmed they didn't cancel it
- Complained to CEO
- Called the hotline & PS4 due to arrive Tuesday

I have had my refund, finally, yay. I have also had texts and emails to say my item is out for delivery today, which is when the school run is on, so hopefully the delivery person can read a note stuck to my door.

Hi there everyone Game now have everything on this settlement deal as mentioned above plus a free controller that they put through as a normal order and charge you a reduced price so try ordering the settlement deal that they put through like a normal order and is delivered by dpd and they charge you the reduced price although they place a normal order at full price so try and blag your way and try and get that controller thrown in as part of the settlement offer deal as its a new offer and total should be same even with the free controller added as they order like a normal order so try to get the free controller when ordering your settlement deal ok everyone

There is no tracking number - It's absolute crap.

I ordered something for £20 from Vax last week. Tracking number provided and given. It turned up but was faulty. I went through to chat immediately who apologised and the lady raised an order for a new more expensive alternative. I got a confirmation Order immediately and the next day was given a tracking number.

Game take note - This is customer service. Not placing an Order then 12 days later you have no idea where the product is an no closer to a refund.

I had a call on Tuesday. The guy said he was off Wednesday but would send the E mail.
Not had it yet.
It sounds like from what he said that he can't see it been delivered to store but someones had it. The reason I chose to collect is I work full time so no-one is home so why would I get it delivered when no-one is there ?

Ironically UC4 turned up yesterday in the post. I can't believe they send out goods worth £250 and just don't care where its delivered.
The law is Game are responsible for delivery from depot to my hands never mind allowing couriers to do what they want with it.
At least if they can't deliver and it goes back to depot it's not missing.

Have you not had your refund either? I spoke with a great guy called Mike on the 01256 number. He has now sent the refund email and assures me that the admin girl has refunded it. I do believe him, so hopefully I will see it in my bank account by Monday at the latest. He called me back as well rather than me having to call again. He has also given me a new number should there be any problems with the refund next week. It is a priority number.

Spoke with my bank, the refund has not been issued at all :disappointed: They said I need to speak to them again and ask them to set up another refund. It should only take 2-3 days at the most. Barclays said they do not hold onto money as it is mine. I just want my refund and I want a PS4.

Well I spoke with a guy on the 01256 number and he said the offer for Settlement has been extended till Saturday. He has escalated my refund issue and hopefully someone will call me back. My refund was issued on Friday 30 September. I have not had a refund email which he said wasn't right, so hopefully we will get to the bottom of it. I just need my refund to come through so I can purchase it again (on credit card this time) with the Settlement offer. My son will be over the moon.

Im in the same boat as you. Apparently though, there is an hdmi to optical splitter you can buy. it takes the audio from the hdmi and converts it to the optical connection. £15 i think

​if that's the case I wouldn't worry about being left hanging. they'll definitely chase your money for you but you might just have to go through normal customer service. ring normal customer service tomorrow or try the Webchat service online.

my money took 8 days to go back into my PayPal. if you paid by PayPal just check that it isn't just in your PayPal balance. I had to withdraw the money myself back into my card.

if they took money you're eligible for the deal so hopefully they'll honour it for you. seemingly the deal was supposed to end tonight but at least chase them for you money and try to get the deal.

Help. So it looks like I missed out on this seeing as it is nearly 10pm on the 12/10/16. I received the confirmation email, shipped email and then the cancellation email.

I have not had my refund and I have been assured I have. But I am just worried I have lost my £149 as they haven't proved to me about my initial refund.

Unfortunately my Amp only supports Opitcal SPDIF audio so I really wanted the original model.

So after many hours/days/years of trying I finally got through to the dedicated line, seems less busy today, got through after 35 minutes on hold. Had to answer some security questions, fairly standard, was told they can only ship to original order address, but the guy (Mark), was happy to change that after he spoke to his manager. Had a few issues with the card as they don't take AmEx and my first order was rejected because of a typo, but got there in the end with a PS4 slim and Mafia III for £149.99. Definitely worth it after probaly 500 hours of effort...yep...definitely...just gotta keep telling myself that...

Got through after about 10 minutes. Really pleasant staff (considering the situation) and got my order confirmation email shortly after. The game selection was Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens and Mafia III (I went for M3). I had tried 2-3 times before (about 30 minutes each) but I'm happy to get through today :smiley:

Monday evening I tried for well over an hour.
On hold so I went out to town. Did shopping, got Petrol, dropped off a hard drive to the pc repair man,went home, ate my tea all while on hold.
After around 1 hour and a half I gave up.
Got a call Tuesday from them though. The guy is off today but will pick up my missing PS4 tomorrow. Ironically a PS4 game has just turned up at home today. Don't know what it is till I get home. Well it'll be either FIFA or UC4

PS4 was ordered on 2nd October, Maybe it is still in transit !

I was on hold about 15 minutes. Went for Mafia 3 instead of PES. I was told it would be here tomorrow delivered by DPD. interestingly on my order confirmation it says Royal Mail 2-3 days. Not fussed either way as I'm not in a rush.

OK, after trying for 14 hours to get through I managed to convince live chat to request a call back from the hotline team.

Here's what you do, go to live chat, tell them your order number they'll tell you that you're qualified for the settlement offer, but that you need to call the number to get it. Tell them it wont go through and you've wasted countless hours and you will be pursuing this in court if they do not sort it out. Request for them to contact their Manager, give them your phone number and tell them to tell the hotline team to call you back. I did this, and got a call back within 10 minutes.

After speaking to the guy on the phone, I have found that the FIFA 17 bundle is now out of stock, but they are offering MAFIA III or PES instead, the NOW TV pass is no longer included. Price included 24 hour delivery by DPD (at least for me). The items CAN be delivered to an address that isn't the billing address. The lines are down at the moment, he said they will be back up within the next hour. However he also said that they have a list of people they are calling, and they will try to call you three times, but no more otherwise it is technically harassment. If you've missed three calls from them, your only chance is to call them back. You can keep the NOW TV vouchers that were offered to you before, and the £20 off voucher will still be valid.

Edit: Getting through to the live chat is difficult, but not as difficult as getting through on the phone. However, I would expect that normal customer service will also be able to request a call back, but it has to go via a manager as they're probably the only ones with the Hotline team internal contact info.

Tempted to sell the FIFA but getting sick of PES and the lack of online players and game modes. Tactics on PES are amazing though so means i am a good player on it. Would take me a long time to learn FIFA and what works.

Thank you to the original poster for the heads up. I phoned today at 10:30 on the button, having been advised by customer support using online chat that this was a quiet period. I was on hold for approximately an hour, but the chap I spoke to was great and the entire process was over in about ten minutes. The delivery doesn't need to be the same as the originally supplied address either. All the best folks.

So, as I ended up working 8am-8:45pm today I couldn't sort out my cancelled order, although the phone number is still giving the hold music at the moment.

However, it does get better, this morning, I go to get my Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin without the egg as a meal for £3.78 for my card to be declined - I believe due to the payment not going through it blocked my card yay! Shock horror as I realise I finish work at 4 (originally), but the bank closes at half 4 - I wonder what I'd need to take to the branch to solve my dilemma, so I ring up! As if by a miracle last night, I forgot my telephone banking access code (I didn't even know I was registered to telephone banking) so I need to set a new one, I did so and because I had changed my access code the night before, it was all sorted over the phone!

Now though, I finish at 4 again tomorrow and I need to attempt to talk to Game again :disappointed:.

I believe the despatch email you receive is relating to the now tv code and NOT the console. I contacted live chat today to get my tracking number, which they gave me, and advised it was through DPD. It doesn't recognise the number yet though, so im assuming they haven't actually despatched the console yet. I also got a tracking number like this for my original cancelled console so...

Im sure it will come, but don't trust the "despatch" email as an actual despatch :wink:

Got mine today, waited 30min to get through, and 10min chat. Didn't get my legal readout email or confirmation email but when I logged in to my account I can see the order has dispatched to my billing address, they can't accept delivery address. They phone line quality is bad always break out but glad everything has settle at my end.

This happened to me, and it was due to having the wrong billing address. My original order had the correct billing address, and a different delivery address. When they put through the new order they use the same address for both, whichever is the delivery address. I had assumed they'd copy the details over, but they didnt

I'm not sure what it can be though - it's not my card as payment was taken and refunded immediately, I also have enough in.

He had to take my card number countless times as the line was bad, but it must have gone in right because he managed to put it through.

The only other discrepancy was the phone number on my account (it was my old one so I changed it, but he said it was fine and said it was fine on the phone).

So I have no idea what it is.

The whole basis of the action would lie in the fact that due to their mess up, it became impossible to source a PS4 through retail channels for the price of £149.99 due to that clearance stock being discontinued. This being the case they were forced to offer the equivalent in what is available, which was the Slim. The court would award the claimant money to the value of the same deal for what's left available in retail stock (in order for them to make the purchase they initially wanted) which would be 249.99 which is what the Slim with FIFA costs (presently) Which is why Game just did it anyway, to save thousands of people going to the SCC to get the money it'd cost to get the bundle.

It assumes that the sole intention of bringing action against them was because you wanted a PS4 with FIFA. So you either accept the PS4 with FIFA or get the money equivalent in order to buy a PS4 with FIFA :smiley:

The only reason it'd be worth not accepting their settlement is if you didn't want the bundle in the first place

Absolutely zero chance.

You need to provide an order number, they then scrutinise your order to see if you meet the criteria for the offer (payment taken for the previous order and dispatch e-mail sent) and finally go through a variety of security checks. And they will only ship to the original delivery address.

Fair play to them, they put £10 on my reward card straight away.
I also got £5 for the original order so have £15 altogether.

Was goign to buy another controller and as their price is quite good can now get it for £19.99.

Back again! For anyone keeping up with my story I had £249.99 taken from my account.
Decided to try the hotline one more time and as fate would have it I actually got put in the queue.

1.5 hours later spoke to someone who advised, as I originally suspected, that my refund should have been done through standard customer services!!! The hotline is for orders only - which is what I told the first guy on standard online chat. You couldn't make this up!!!

He was full of apologies and advised my refund would be done in a 'few days' and also he would get some reward points put on my account. We shall see what goes wrong next.......

Not long off the phone. Wait was about 1hr 30m and got through to a very helpful & pleasant chap called Mark who processed my order quickly and was very apologetic for the hold times. Have to take my hat off to the guys on the team as the level of customer service is first class considering the volume of calls and pressure they must be under....through no fault of their own.

Mark told me that the console is likely to ship Tues/Wed now. Not sure if correct but my order confirmation does show shipping as 'free delivery - 2nd class post' so guessing no DPD upgrade. Correctly showing £149.99 beside my credit card no. though which is a relief!!

Got through on online chat and they advised to call the hotline number back. I do not understand why I have to waste 2 more hours of my life getting through to someone on the settlement line when it should be something standard customer services should be able to handle.

Check they haven't overcharged you too! Now to try to get through but the automated voice just advises me to chat online and hangs up - it's unreal!

This is worrying.

I spent an hour in total to Game phone lines today with no luck. What has the total cost come to?

I can't afford to keep ringing up and thus rack up tremendous phone bills. It is not an offer if the savings go on phone bills!

I won't be ringing up again. Game have admitted their fault - now it is up to them to individually ring each customer affected for free and sort the order out. Simple.

Anyone know if I can take this forward to consumer rights?

It took 64 attempts to get on hold. Then on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Went through a few security questions got as far as delivery details only to be told they won't ship it to Ireland if it weighs more than 1kg. She processed the order but did tell me chances are they won't send it! Now it's a matter of wait and see again!

Does anyone know what it weighs delivered?

I got straight into the queue at 8am today and get through to an adviser at about 9:20am. Very helpful chap and completed the order within a few minutes. The whole original issue was that dispatch emails were sent at the same time as the Now TV code and now with the settlement deal the same thing is happening so your 1am dispatch email probably relates to the Now TV code. I got both emails about 1am too. At least this time they won't have a limited stock but I'm still remaining doubtful until the ps4 is in my hands.

Just spent the last hour trying to understand why my payment failed. 1st credit card used, they stopped the transaction from going ahead, flagged up with security/fraud team. 2nd credit card, apparently approved on my account and pending,Game never proceeded to take the funds. 3rd credit card the one that actually generated an order for me, credit card company say they have no record of Game transaction on my account. Game claim they had security/billing issues from the Bank and therefore cancelled my order, total Bull***t, lies after lies!

Why would you want to reverse time? I'm not sure if you have misconstrued my comments but I am not suggesting you shouldn't have posted this information up. Quite the opposite in fact.

But it is clear that now so many folk know about the existence of the deal and the dedicated line the small team on the receiving end is woefully understaffed to cope with the sheer influx of calls so perhaps their management need to re-assess how they handle things. Whether that be more staff, to make the offer by e-mail to minimise the amount of man hours or whatever. But right now I can quite easily see the deadline of the 12th (if correct) coming and going with quite a lot of folk unable to get through and feeling rather frustrated. Perhaps GAME will call, perhaps they won't but the number being contacted seems awfully small.

As I say don't take this as a dig at you because without you having raised awareness there'd be a lot more people sitting without a PS4 right now oblivious so kudos for doing so :smiley:

To echo the above poster, they did say the regular CS should be able to resolve. Ironically it took longer to get through to the regular number anyway..

Got through after waiting 1hr 30mn... Guy asked for order number and confirmed name, address and payment details. I paid by PayPal originally but had to pay by card this time. He read out some statement about acknowledging this as a settlement blah blah and if I'm good with that.

Mine is being shipped my Hermes according to the guy and should be despatched Monday.

Only email I've gotten so far is order confirmation. I guess despatch email will come Monday!

Also you're only eligible if you got a despatch email. Order confirmation doesn't count :/

Just to help out the people that were in the same position as I was this time last week (paid for the bundle, received a dispatch email, then received a cancellation)....

The legal issue here is that GAME removed the opportunity for me to purchase it elsewhere by confirming the order was dispatched. As we know everywhere else's stock was flying off the shelves last Friday, and when the cancellation email was received everywhere had sold out by then.

I emailed the CEO (Martyn Gibbs) by way of his Linkedin profile, received a call the next day, was offered the settlement of PS4 slim 500gb, + Fifa17, + Now TV for 3 months, for £149.99. I paid again over the phone and received it today.

Good luck everyone, keep hammering at the door, they are obliged to match or better the original offer as per their own T&Cs and the fact that loss of opportunity to purchase from another retailer was created by them.

Keep calm, do not be abusive, adopt a 'disappointed and upset' approach and hopefully you'll get the same result I did.

Different companies will have different T&C's, nobody here can give an informed opinion because it's a legal issue.

Because, as far as I know, GAME are the only ones that actually charged people and then sent emails saying they had dispatched the items. Some of the other companies may well have charged - but they didn't say the goods had been shipped, so they could just cancel the order saying they were out of stock and issue refunds.

It's the dispatch emails that have forced GAME to make this offer.

This is correct Unfortunately, I'm in the second boat. They are just covering their legal tracks, have absolutely zero desire to actually help disgruntled customers.

Ultimately, the annoyance was no greater if you received the dispatch email or not. We were all in the same boat this time last week. I'm happy though that lot's got sorted and GAME are at least getting digged out a little bit. I was never going to buy a PS4 without that deal so I'm not heartbroken but I did build myself up a bit

Winds me up however because it just causes even more annoyance for those (including me), who thought they had the deal first time, missed out, and now again is missing out through absolute zero fault of their own.

I will be ringing up tomorrow, or whenever it dies down, to absolutely slate whoever is on the other end. It wont achieve anything and the guy who cops it doesn't deserve it but It's appalling from GAME.

I think people are mixing up the legal and moral issues in all of this.

The legal issue (and the reason Game have been forced to offer a PS4 to people, not just because they're a good bunch of lads) is that their own terms and conditions state that the contract of sale isn't binding until a dispatch email is received. A large number of us got the dispatch email. Regardless of whether they took payment. The payment isn't the issue here.

The moral part is them taking payment. This has no bearing on their terms and conditions and contract of sale. Morally they should honour the deal, but they're not going to, because they're purely doing ONLY what they need to do to not break consumer law... Which is to sell a PS4 to the people who got the dispatch email.

I understand that, and I understand the legal issue of it being a binding contract once they take your money. But what I;m saying is that how is it they've taken money for some peoples orders and not others. I've checked with my bank and there was no approach from Game to take funds from my account, yet my colleague who ordered the PS4 two mins after me did get their funds taken out. I have bought the goods from GAME before with this same debit card so its not an issue of the card.

Its all very frsutraing

I was on hold for 1hr 16 mins and I get another call through, thinking it was just a ppi/spam call I ignored it, then searched the number on google to find out in fact it was GAME calling me! And to top it off the line cut off after being on hold 1hr 22mins! Safe to say I'm feeling rather frustrated! :confused:

I asked if they could cancel the extra game and refund me the difference (much easier than all the faffing around!!) And they said no. Guess I'm just being a bit paranoid because my Game account had my old address and I had the original order delivered to the store so there was a slight hick up when going through security question as I told them my current address and the guy said that's not the address on the account.
After we worked that out there wasn't any issue so it's probably ok still but just odd that most people are getting their confirmations so soon...

oh yeah i know that! but at least i know i have peace of mind now and my order has been processed ect! for those who have gone through and made a new order but have not yet got any emails it took me about half an hour to get any emails although the new order reflected upon my game account immediately whilst he placed it on the phone, he did tell me a separate team deal with taking payments ect and he can't take a payment he just confirms the orders.

Theres a big difference between order confirmation and order dispatched the latter means they entered a contract , only people whos payment had went through and those who got the dispatch email to say it was on it's way , I had two orders the second confirmed but never dispatched and no money was taken it was later cancelled , the other order was returned not cancelled. Got one of the new deals so happy enough.

But somehow he's eligible for a the deal and I'm not. Its absolute rubbish is what it is. Never had a problem buying stuff online ever with my card, but "apparently" with this particular order there was one...what an absolute **** show of a company...

It is unfortunate for those affected but as has been discovered GAME are only offering this new deal to those who had money taken and received a dispatch notification email. This is due to the contract being entered into when GAME dispatched the order (it wasn't sent but the email is proof enough), not at the point of accepting the order.

Game just needs to offer this deal to everyone for a limited amount of time instead of pi××ing off other potential customers who tried to get the original deal but their website said sold out and wouln't let anyone order after about a minute of it going live. I don't understand why they are just offering it to those that had order cancelled as I was on the payment page trying to order the original deal but it wouldn't go through. They might think they are making up for their bad service for some customers but I hope they lose alot of other customers for not offering them this new deal ad not even answering their emails.

Finally got through after 1 hour 45 mins on the phone, spoke to a scouse guy called Josh told him i was calling about the settlement offer he asked me basic security questions then straight asked me am i wanting to place the order now and am i aware what offer they're giving me, i said yes he read out the legal rights explaining i won't take any action and if i accept this deal i won't take any legal action against them he asked for my card number and delivery address and explained the price and deal. We spent more time chatting about Mafia 3 & Fifa then placing the order, brilliant guy he placed my order and he told me to check my game account whist i was on the phone to check it had gone through before he let me leave. For those wondering I ordered my original order friday afternoon about 1pm-ish, i paid through Paypal and used click and collect. I got a order confirmation then a few mins after a "Your order is on its way we'll let you know when it arrives in store" email, then the following day i got the "Refund" email. If anyone has any more questions feel free to ask me!

Confirmed that I'm eligible but they do send the order through to the second tier team to make sure everything checks out before approving the order.
They do ask a lot of security questions because a lot of idiots are trying to claim it when they are not eligible.

The hold for me was about an hour and 15 minutes. I had to disconnect and connect for several times due to automated message. Once you are on hold and through to someone, you will have it.

There is no chance of getting if you don't qualify so don't waste your time, i assume, if you did not order last week.

It is definitely over an hour wait. I believe around one hour mark some people cut off due to charges from landline companies and the ones who hold they jump the queue.

All done, however not without a worry at first.

At first after giving my order number, I was told I was NOT eligible. I then said I have a dispatched email from last week and it's also saying dispatched on my account. I was then asked what emails have I received to date. So I mentioned each one, and as soon as I said I have a dispatched email and it's also showing on my account as dispatched, he could then see it was on my account as dispatched, and I was therefore now eligible.

Order has to go to the original delivery address from last week, same card details, just reconfiming all details, and the mention of two emails being sent shorty (order and settlement confirmation)

I agree. It comes to nominally £50 more than the original deal (i.e. C chassis and FIFA) for a Slim and FIFA (this thread isn't really an open deal and so shouldn't count) which isn't bad at all. Can't see Black Friday deals being much cheaper than £230 for the Slim and two games but could well be wrong.

Right ive just got through to "mike". Was 2 hour waiting time to get through. He said that this number was for outbound phonecalls only and someone leaked it so if you have to wait so long " its your own fault" as it wasnt meant for incoming calls. He said that everyone thats due the deal WILL be getting contacted and if everyone hasnt been contacted by 12th October they will just extend it. He said everyone WILL get the offer thats entitled to it WITHOUT waiting on this phone line. He said there were only 3 working yesterday and now 5 today.

Personally I'd rather sit on hold for a couple of hours (at no cost to me) than risk waiting for them to call, as I've been on the receiving end of so many GAME screw ups over the last few years I wouldn't trust them to actually have a proper list of all those effected here. Nor would I trust them to honestly offer it to everyone either. So would rather make sure by calling myself.

Now that the genie is out of the bottle so to speak you have to think they'd perhaps be better off just sticking up a pre-recorded message explaining their intentions and that all affected customers will be contacted in due course. Then use another number to make the outgoing calls.

That way they can get down to the business of contacting folk in an orderly fashion and not have to field a raft of calls from people who never ordered one to begin with.

Part of me thinks that the intention was to never offer this deal to the masses though and they were only going to offer it to a small minority who continued to 'rock the boat'. But now it's in the public domain their hand has been forced.

Do feel sorry for the poor staff who are having to field all those calls though.

Im also on live chat and about 6th in the queue. Im just going to ask if they have a number for me on my order, as I cannot remember putting one on (checked out as a guest). If they do - then im hanging up and they can call me! If they dont ill ask the advisor if they can add one on so I dont have to wait about.

Im sure all will get the offer, there would be an even bigger outcry if only select people did (who all had the despatch email etc etc). Im not really desperate for a PS4 so dont mind waiting a few extra days, as long as I know they have a number to get me on.

Firstly they said to me it was hermes, but then said sorry it's DPD. I got a DPD tracking reference as well, but it didn't exist on the DPD website. To cut a long story short, the guy on the phone after I persisted for an answer confirmed the NOW TV email made the order update to dIspatched. Which is why he was confused with one system saying dispatched, but the other saying "awaiting pickup by DPD". The problem he had to begin with was working out why my order was dispatched, yet DPD didn't even take the unit from game for delivery. Hence the software issue they confirmed having.

After receiving that dispatch email I contacted them for a tracking number which they gave me, and they said it was for DPD, which is only for orders £150 or more, when that didn't work on the DPD website I went back to live chat to confirm and they responded by saying sorry that's a Hermes tracking number, we got confused as "the price of your goods was close to the DPD price". Doesn't sound like any of this was working off the knowledge that it was only for a NOW TV code.

What's funny is the dispatched email we all got was only as a result of the NOW TV email being sent to us all, which then updated the order to dispatched. If their system was good enough, the order wouldn't have fully updated to dispatched based on that now tv email. Said the offer is available until the 12th also warned me it's very busy and that the wait time might be excessive!! Might be helpful though for those that aren't sure if they are eligible to try online live chat. DPD emailed with time slot after they initially confirmed last night they had the package.

I did the order first thing yesterday morning though so if you ordered quite late I expect you missed the cut off so might get the DPD emails today and collection over the weekend or early next week.

The order as shown on Game site states "Free Delivery - 2nd Class Post (2-3 working days) " - no mention of DPD anywhere.

For PayPal I'd guess it's the card registered with the PayPal account.
I think I'm in a no-win situation. I ordered, got the dispatched and cancelled emails, but I live in Ireland. I'll be out the cost of the PS$ while on hold!

No if you originally paid with PayPal - you cannot opt for this again (as they would need your PayPal password to process the order, which I am sure you do not want to hand out!).

So they will need to take card info from you, i.e.e for you to just pay with a credit/debit card this time, when you do get to speak to them over the phone.

Result! Just had a phone call from GAME, offering me the Slim deal! So I'm sure if you are eligible you will be contacted! I've recevied a confirmation email and an email stating i accept their settlement offer and thats the end of the matter! chuffed :smiley:

I now have my DPD time slot so it looks like 'something' is arriving today so the offer seems good so far.

As mentioned previously I will just keep my eye on bank account and make sure it did go out for the correct price.

I know It will be honoured at £149.99 as I have all the emails that state the offer, it will just be annoying if I have to try to get £100 back out of them!

Just to update you, I got through just now.

Called 8:02am - On hold till 9:40.

Guy immediately asked for order number(s). Gave them the information, he asked for my address, and last 4 digits of card used to make the order. He asked me to confirm my delivery address from before which is used to dispatch these items. He then stated it was the full and final settlement of this and did I want to proceed. I said yes and gave him different card details as my old card was cancelled.

Said thanks and all done.

Got an email through 5 mins later :-

Finally got through called at 8am took 1.5 hour to get through. Got the PS4 slim 500 gb with FIFA for original order price.

The agent on the phone advised me that they are getting calls from people who are not entitled and they are asking security questions to ensure only people who had the dispatch notice get the offer.

The long queue times are caused by the number of people chancing to get the offer!

***Don't bother unless you had the original offer with dispatch email declined***

​ you can't prove you got it from GAME. otherwise people would get cheap games elsewhere and get full price taking into GAME. Unless it's something only game sell they won't do it without a receipt

Guys the only number you should try is the mentioned by OP 01256 784799. If after calling it is put through an automated system (Not on hold) then disconnect and connect again. The only indication that you are on the correct line is when you are straight away queued (On hold with music in background).

I managed to get through 2 times since yesterday. So I guess thats what I learnt so far. Hope it helps :smiley:

Just got mine delivered. Anyone know about the exchange policy at Game? If I take in Fifa still in the cellophane and say it's an unwanted gift but I don't have the receipt, will they allow me to exchange it for something else at the full value? Or is my only option to trade it in as a used game?
