This is correct, you typically need Trailing-edge dimmers to use these bulbs without any issues. For light switches, these can be around £8 to replace (I've bought some Varilight dimmer switches in a satin chrome finish that do the job perfectly). Alternatively, Varilight also do a module that you can use to upgrade your current dimmer switch.

Hi, Can you recommend a website or a company please?

Heat added, great price but do beware of dimmable leds, they dim by cutting power through part of the phase, which is fine for most people and happens fast enough that you won't perceive it, but they all trigger my sons epilepsy and I don't doubt that if you are the sort that get headaches from cheap monitors which do the same, these will do that to you too, as they also give him seizures

These are rather more than I paid, but this is the model I bought:
There is a V-Pro and a V-Com range. Although the V-Com range will work with some dimmable bulbs, the V-Pro can switch between Trailing Edge and Leading Edge modes (and is the one I've gone for, with no problems!!)

Not so with these - I have these on a cheap and nasty 20 year old dimmer and they work perfectly. You just have to make sure you meet the minimum wattage requirement for the dimmer.

These are excellent lamps if you like the look of traditional filaments, by the way, because the plastic moulding makes it look as if the light is coming from the middle of the bulb, rather than the base, where the LEDs are.
Also, they actually change colour slightly when dimmed down, becoming yellower, like traditional filament lamps, though not to the same extent.
