Horrible that it's Android but brilliant that it's ambilight. Heat!

Beware, I took mine back and store manager said they had lots returned.
Black patch in middle of screen about 20cm up. Seems to be on all of them.
Uneven back light.
Image retention. See https://m.imgur.com/gallery/qEMnk
Sound via ARC was iffy and sometimes didn't work for no apparent reason even after unplugging everything and putting back.
ARC audio had annoying lag when using an external sources e.g. xbox.
Xbox one s 4K picture would go all glitchy randomly.
Shame as the picture quality was really good.
I got a refund and got the Samsung 43ku6000 instead.
None of the above issues, black level is ridiculously good, better than my plasma . Motion on HD not so good, but 4k fine

Thanks for the heads up , when i get it set up i'll run some patterns and check the back light , IR i'm not too bothered about. I get it on my VT65 and that will go as the screen runs in , hopefully, if not its in warranty
Had a bad experience with Samsung so bottom of my list

The thing with the image retention though is that it only displayed the battlefield text for about 10 seconds but it remained on the screen for at least a minute after changing to a different screens

Picked mine up last night and so far no sign of any problems but I hav'nt had a real chance to test it thoroughly , installed kodi / Wookie in about 10 minutes which is a bonus
Won't get to mess around with it until the weekend but looks like it's a keeper

I'm often concerned when what should be well specified kit on paper keeps getting reduced it's because there are problems and they hope people will be more accepting of clear manufacturing design defects at a lower price point. Who is knocking out these tat Phillips units? Actually I'll just Google it and have a looksy.
Trusted reviews - CONS
The screen has a limited black level
Backlight uniformity is poor
