We will top the SIM up for £10. £1 will be used to activate the EE Talk and Text pack which gives you 25 minutes and 50 texts. The Talk and Text pack lasts for up to 7 days, a new pack will be added after this time and another £1 deducted from the credit. Your pack starts as soon as you start using your allowances and last for up to 7 days. As soon as this time is up, a new one will start so remember to top up your credit to keep getting great value. And the longer you stay, the better it gets. Get your pack each month and every three months, you can add more minutes, texts or data at no extra cost.
roadman's* is the correct term to what I think you are referring to :sunglasses:

its actually a great deal as that £10 will last you 10 weeks as it will automatically renew every week until the £10 is used up. £1 per week for 50 free texts and 25 mins. I dont think you understand the deal.

Argos has an Android phone for only £5 more if you want a phone with more usability.

If that is the Smart First then there is a compulsory £15 top-up to add!

No, you can just pay for the phone itself via Fast-Track. It's optional if you want to top it up.

To be more exact UNLESS you know of the fast-track trick the top up is not optional!

Does anybody have experience of stopping the text pack from renewing(you text STOP PACK) then being able to use that credit to pay for other things? I know in the past Ive tried but it seems you can only use the credit for calls and texts not paying for something like a prepaid debit card deposit(for example).

I can do the maths, that's still a lousy rate. £10 for 100 mins and 200 texts for 30 days is really poor. The fact that the credit effectively comes free with with the phone isn't the issue, it's the daft "pack" that ee offers that I have issue with.

do your maths again then...its £10 for 250mins and 500 texts for 70 days..
