I've been using this toothbrush twice a day for over 3 years, but I feel like it's already been about 6 years. (Recently I orderd myself a new one, just in case). I am very happy (my teeth and gums are too) I'd switched to electric toothbrush. I have never had a better toothbrush, my teeth have been squeaky clean since the first use (the difference between traditional toothbrush and one such as this is indeed huge, it is really a precision tool! I have to add the Precision Clean brush head is absolutely a game changer). This toothbrush even inspired me to regularly use dental floss and a mouth rinse, and to always wash my mouth after eating, even with just tap water. I am surprised anybody would have any trouble with this brush quality. But, I have never left it wet to dry out (soft rubber generally doesn't like it) and I regularly (if rarely) clean the battery compartment's rubber seal with a cotton cloth and some alcohol. Batteries also are the perfect solution for me.

Any suggestions for cheap brush heads for this? Or better to just buy a new one?
