I have them both digitally and agree that is probably the best way for little pick up and play titles like this but relaly nice boxed set for those that like to collect physical games...

The graphics on this game look like some platform game from the early 90's? Surely there's a mistake? Or am I missing something?

Your missing that there is more to a game than it's graphics, something a lot of people can't seem to grasp these days!
I'm sure they could have made it look prettier (the first game especially, the second looks quite nice IMO) but it wouldn't really have added anything to the game and overly busy background graphics can actually make these kinds of game harder....

I think you're missing a lot. Some of the best games I've played in recent years have retro/stylised graphics...
