Ryanair is offering a lot of great fares to Barcelona from many UK cities at the moment. If you book affordable hotels rooms via sites like Booking or Trivago, you can put together a really cheap city-break in Spain.

What extra charges??
Travel insurance? Get your own beforehand.
Priority boarding? You have a reserved seat, just get on with everyone else and lo - your seat will still be there.
Boarding pass fee? Print your own before you leave!
Excess baggage fee? Weigh your bags before you leave and make sure they are size and weigh you paid for.
Expensive food on the flight? Buy a fuggin sandwich before you get on the plane.
There are no "extra fees" unless you have not done your homework, which is entirely your own fault. Don't blame Ryanair if you turn up with a bag that's too heavy/large!
People whining about paying less than a tenner for a flight from UK to Spain - stay at home!

Flew Ryanair for the first time earlier this year, don't understand the negativity. You want better just pay more, seems simple enough.

It's a hot deal but tbh I wouldn't fly with Ryanair for free.

For anyone working in the Travel and Tourism sector, Ryanair are notorious for bad customer service, bad bad bad reputation.
They charge extra for everything - which for this price you can't really complain.
Even though EasyJet are another low-cost airline I would rather travel with them - have never had a bad experience with them.

Ryanair are vile, with their extra charges, hideous yellow dayglow seats, nauseating in-flight piped adverts, etc... but they are often the cheapest option so if you're on a budget why cut off your nose to spite your face?

Hideous yellow dayglow seats... I feel your pain! It's the only reason I refuse to take the #16 bus to the city
Gtfo of here with that sh*t. It's a bloody Low-Cost Carrier, what do you expect? We're lucky to have one so cheap so if you want class then buy a G6
