The 25" has dropped another fiver over the last few weeks! These are fantastic monitors for productivity and work. I have a 29" LG 21:9 model and a 25" one, on my other machine (different models to these though) Don't worry about the 14ms on site, the actual GTG time is 5ms. I appreciate people like to have 1-2ms monitors for gaming, but I assure you, 5ms is just fine. If you work at your PC all day, I would definitely go for the 29" model!
Work
The nice thing is the work area, you can have two nicely sized windows next to each other or spit the screen 4 ways if you need it. It's a nice IPS panel that really doesn't reflect much at all. It's hard to describe how helpful it can be to have the extra width there. If unsure, head down to a store and give it a go if they have a display one out. Being able to have Office on one side and a browser on the other, without having to look at a different screen or tab, really does help.
Play / Gaming info
Now, I know a lot of people are a tad worried about games supporting the 21:9 ratio, but there are loads of games out there that support it:
Battlefield 3/4/1 - Battlefront - F1 2015 - Just Cause 3 - Ryse - CS:Go + loads more - There is a site that has a huge list of current games (updated all the time) - See Here
The 29" verision is AMD Freesync capable, which will help limit stuttering and tearing in games. Effectively making it a smoother experience. Which is an added bonus if you've got an AMD card!I wouldn't discount them just because you have a Nvidia card, the rest of the specs are still very good for this amount of money. See below for more Freesync info

What about consoles being connected?
Well you can indeed connect a PS4 / Xbox one (other HDMI consoles) But You'll be faced with one of two situations. The console will stretch the image to suit the ratio (Which looks bad) OR it will add 2 black bars either side to bring the image back to a 16:9 ratio. But that's not the monitors fault, that's just the way the consoles deal with it.
Refresh rates
I currently push the monitor to give me 75hz instead of the standard 60hz at stock. Obviously it's up to you to if you decide to change this. I don't think they actually recommend it, but it's been fine for me.

Not at all, I linked to all the specs in there. The resolution is mentioned in the OP as well as both of the links, plus the specs pages that I have provided. At these price points I believe these are pretty good value for what they are, in particular the 29" Model.
Not everyone will have the GPU to drive a 1440p or higher res monitor. All the information and more is in the OP. Each to their own, but 1080p is still very popular. I wouldn't at all post anything that I genuinely believed wasn't worth a look.

It's worth mentioning that these are also Freesync panels, so great for those who may have recently aquired an RX 480 for example.

I've use a site comparison to try and understand the scale of these. I've added my existing monitors; there's these two on offer plus a 24, 27 and 30 normal aspect ratio screens. The figures are from manufacture specifications and may or may not include the bezel. Hope it helps someone.
You can drag them about and see how these monitors would fit into your existing two monitor setup etc. Ctrl+Scroll is your friend.

Ahh thanks, genuinely believe they are great monitors too. I think they are defo worth considering, the extra width on games is fantastic.

Tempted by that 25" screen looks good for the price, you need something fast like a GTX 1070 (extra £350+) to power it though.

I have the 25" version of this screen and it is indeed very nice especially considering the price. I am running a gtx 970 on it which is more than adequate for the screens resolution, it is only 2560x1080 so it is only a bit more demanding than a regular 1080p monitor.

Around 33% lower framerates ((2560⋅1080)/(1920⋅1080)), that is a significant pixel increase, but yeah the GTX 970 still a pretty fast card.

Been looking for one of these for a while, good catch these seem a good bit cheaper than normal, but I want the 3" that's out of stock:)

Can anyone find the dimensions of this monitor. The only thing I've read that gives me some pause for thought is, "smaller than my 22" screen."
Amazon's dimensions seem incorrect.

They could be referring to the height? They do seem narrower to compensate, but they defintely are not smaller!

Thanks for that. I knew the 188 depth didn't sound right! I'll never understand counting the stand lol. Has anyone gone from 120Hz to 75Hz? I really like 120Hz, so this is pretty important to me.

I got a Laptop and want a bigger screen for gaming but dont want to break the bank. Im tempted by the 29" and I have a Geforce 960m. I think that should be fine?
