I always have East End....they are tomatoes....the same as any other tinned tomatoes. I tasted very little difference

There are plenty of better tinned tomatoes than East End or KTC, which are pretty watery and low on taste. I find the dearer ones of the 2 lines that Lidl stock to be amongst the best (Royal blue label, "Italiamo"?), the cheaper Lidl ones are just as thin/watery/tasteless. Buy cheap and you end up having to put a load of tomato puree in to get some taste.

I use East end ones (4 for £1 at Tesco) and they are fine. Yes a bit watery but tomatoes are tomatoes!

Tasted all the cheap brands and they are all tasteless
