Found these today but they smell like they're just rebranded cheap candles? :/

Agree with above. I bought one, once you burn it it doesn't smell of anything. Will stick to Yankee.

Aww are they rubbish? I was so excited when I saw this mentioned on the Hotukdeals' FB feed :disappointed: I've been lighting candles again as the nights are drawing in.

If you want cheap, I recommend the big jar Wickford & Co candles from Home Bargains at £2.99 - Gingerbread is awesome and just as strong as the £20-odd Kringle candle I've got!
People are allowed to have opinions - if you choose to take it as a personal slight, that's on you! A bargain isn't a bargain if they're no good.
I did a test where I tried them alongside Morrisons Basics tealights (which are rubbish) and each tealight lasts for 3.5-4 hours...added a comment about them to the MSE Poundland thread a while back.

Saw some Krispy Kreme candles in my Poundworld earlier (Argyle Street, Glasgow) - noticed they also have "The Candle Company" brand, which comes in fragranced mini jars (with lid), tealights, unscented pillar candles, and candles in uncovered glasses similar to the Krispy Kreme variety.
Comes in Apple & Cinnamon, Fresh Linen, Berries. Can't find any info on them at all though they seem pretty fragrant at first sniff!
