These are a real bargain at £16.38 10 Year lifespan on combined carbon monoxide and optical smoke detector alarm & also get a single smoke alarm 3 Years lifespan. Duracell 9V batts with them. Bought 2 of them (1 for Daughter) and I am a mean sod so they are a BARGAIN

Thats the sort we replaced ours with and does not go off all the time like the others seem too and yes its working hubby tests it every week, we got ours fro amazon for about same price

I got the voice combined detector for a friend last year and it's great. the voice feature avoid any confusion over what the alarm is for, or when it's a low battery, etc. the hush button is broom handle friendly for when you burn the toast. recommended and a good price, cheapest is usually Amazon.
