Barclays customers can buy for £6.99 for 5 devices for 1 year, includes Kids Safe.

Still got loads of these from when they were going though at ~ £4 each

No anti-virus/anti-malware is perfect. If you happen to get hit by something new then the AV isn't going to know about it and that's just bad luck.

By the way, how do you know that you don't have a problem with the Windows version? How do you know that there's no malware lurking? Even with Kaspersky running I still run an occasional scan with an alternative such as the free version of malwarebytes, just in case they missed something. Have you actually checked that you don't have any problems? The presence of malware isn't always obvious ...

'tis true that Windows now comes with AV for free but KIS is more reliable and safer.

Just a side note - Kid-safe is awesome! Locks those pesky tablets and phones DOWN, no apps bypassing youtube protection etc. or going to 'nanas' and getting access to any content. Brilliant

Same here pricedroppin, used it on xp too no hacks. Occasionally I run SEARCH and destroy but it never finds anything anymore since using security essentials.

Not entirely true, I haven't purchased an antivirus in years (and also don't use the free downloadables like AVG). Windows has it covered themselves with windows essentials and windows security. Never had a problem after getting rid of the additional antivirus, yet when I used to use Norton I got hacked :/ also nobody I know now use any purchasable antivirus. All seems a bit of a con.

Don't forget you can have Sophos free for up to ten PC's at home.

As a Barclays client I get KIS free yearly. It's by far the best AV out there, imo.

Works on Android devices to keep the kids safe to on phones and tablets. Password manager and find my device to.

Paid £40 for this last year, (10 licenses) I get it every year and swear by it, as others have said, it is not intrusive, it always come top in the magazines. I had a bit of a misunderstanding with mine last year, very easy to contact them and they really helped.

I've been using 2017 Total Security for a few weeks now and it is over aggressive in it's detections and despite changing settings to ignore certain files and not to delete some that it sees as being malware, it still does so.

Just get AVG, not full of spyware

Nice, I did just install the eval version on a fairly low end laptop and it seemed ok, certainly much better than it would have been a few years back

Previous versions of Kaspersky used to be a bit heavy in terms of resource usage, that said it did seem to do the job it said on the Tin and for under £15 for a 10 device license it's probably worthwhile.

Yeh Barclays is free for online banking customers and max 2 devices renew each year online

I have it from Barclay's it's free for as long as you bank with Barclay's,just needs free update each year.

I believe the Barclays offer is for two devices only. The Mymemory deal is for 10 devices PC/Android/Mac
