Not voted hot or cold on this one, but from personal experience, I'd never buy a polystyrene helmet again (which is what this looks like). My son had one when he had his first major fall on his bike. In fairness, it saved a lot of damage, but looking at the way it disintegrated, if the crash had been a tumble rather than single impact, things could have been much worse. (stitches to chin was it). of course, any helmet is better than nothing. and at this price its a no brainer, but I value my kids lives at more than £3.....

Mate you get 1 use out of a helmet.
And if u look inside ur baby car seat, it will be made of what LOOKS like styrofoam. It absorbs the crash and saves their life.
My €90 adult bell downhill helmet... styrofoam.
