How exactly does one claim these free games please? Are they auto-added to your Twitch Prime account?

Yea I had to do some digging to work it out as well
To be clear, are these following the Xbox model of "free with subscription" (ie grab them and they're yours forever) or Playstation (free as long as you have an active subscription)?

If amazon prime video/music is anything to go by, which seems a reasonable assumption to make considering this is basically 'amazon prime games' this will be a "free as long as you pay your subs" model.

to claim them i think all you have to do is look at the "free with prime" bit on the left of your twitch page and hit redeem. you definitely need twitch launcher to actually install the games though. really weird how they've made it so hard to even locate the launcher to install. i had to google it and still couldn't find a direct link to download.

i have amazob prime at the min hows does this work i have zero intrest in twitch i like to play games and bot watch them being playied
When I try to get any of the codes I get this error: 'Sorry, there was an error retrieving your content'. I'm logged in so I don't know what the story is.

when explaing how to redeem these offers the help assistant called robin says that even when you dont have twitch prime the games are free to keep
